“No. They’re going to realize they’re bothkinky as shit any minute and then my fun will be over because they’ll go backto ignoring it. This is much more fun because they’re hot when they’re tryingto decide if they’re angry.” Men were so sexy when they went all alpha.

“If you want that spanking, Trouble, you’regoing to stop egging them on.” Silas’s stern voice had me looking at him and pouting.

“But that’s no fun.” He was so serioussometimes.

“Trouble.”

Rolling my eyes, I sighed loudly to makesure he could hear it. “Yes, Sir.”

Wade was grinning, but the rest of the guyswere staring at the table. Shane and Graham were both watching me and eachother to see how they would react. It was stupid, so I decided to tell themthat.

Stepping between them, I turned to Graham.“If you haven’t figured out we’re not as boring as we’re trying to pretend, you’re not that bright. And really, why are you glaring at your cousin?”

Shane chuckled, so I shifted to look athim. “Don’t think you get out of this. He’s very uncomfortable and trying topretend he’s boring too. Just because he has no poker face doesn’t mean you getto make him crazy and butt heads with him. Both of you just agree you’re freakyand let’s move on. I have a social club to plan so I can get a spanking and getfucked. You’re wasting my time.”

Silas’s low growl said I might have lost myspanking. So I glared at both men. “And if fixing this shit has cost me myspanking, there will be hell to pay.”

This was no longer fun; I wanted to be doneand to go home to convince Silas I hadn’t been that bad. It wasn’t going to beeasy, so I needed to start sooner rather than later. “Well?”

Shane broke first. “He’s very bossy for asub.”

“Duh, sub doesn’t mean doormat.” I rolledmy eyes and glared at Graham. “Now can we finish this meeting without you beingall weird and shit?”

It was his turn to scoff and look offended.“Really? I’m the one who’s weird? You guys keep calling this a social club, butit has the weirdest shit in it I’ve ever seen.”

He pointed at Silas. “Now things arefalling into place, but you lying about why you need soundproof and scent-proofbedrooms hasn’t helped us finalize the plans.”

I shrugged. “Like we could have come rightout and told you we’re building a BDSM club? Really, what do you think theaverage contractor would have said?”

“But I’m not the average contractor.” Thewords seemed to jump out of him before he could think.

Was that the problem?

“And really, what was Shane supposed to say,‘You’ve always seemed really vanilla and kind of private but I’m kinky and myboss who’s also my sub is going to start a BDSM club’? Because I don’t thinkthat would have gone over well in most situations.”

I was surrounded by idiots.

“Well.” Graham stopped and took a deepbreath. “I can’t do a good job on the project without all the information.”

Sure, thatwas what the tantrum was about.

“I can understand that, but do youunderstand our difficulties with this? If it gets out to the wrong people, ourlives will be very uncomfortable. And not in a good way. We had no way ofknowing how you would react, outside of Shane explaining that of course youwould keep our secret if it came out.” His posture started to relax as I spokeuntil he was nodding and actually looking around at us like he was seeing usfor the first time.

“You’re right. I didn’t think about thataspect, but it makes sense.”

If he hadn’t been thinking about that, whathad he been thinking?

But even the devil on my shoulder agreedthat asking would just make sure I didn’t get a spanking. So I kept quiet—fornow.

Tanner decided to finally step in now thatmost of the drama was out of the way. “So now that you know what the club isactually going to be for, I think the meeting will go much more smoothly.”

I just rolled my eyes.

Wade grinned but kept quiet as Grahamstarted to speak. “Yes, I have a better picture now and I think we should makesome changes.”

He took a breath like he was cleaning outhis brain and walked back over to the table, giving Shane’s shoulder a quicksqueeze as he walked past his cousin. That had Shane relaxing as well, so I assumedthat was their way of saying they were good. A hug would have been hotter, butI’d take what I could get.

“What changes?” Tanner leaned over theplans and started studying the rough document.
