I had no idea what that meant, but everyonechuckled, so I had a feeling it was some kind of inside joke. Austin dancedback over to me and threw himself in my arms. “It’s going to be so great.”

“You’ve clearly had too much sugar.” I knewthat french toast hadn’t been a good idea.

“You’re silly. You made me have eggs andthey even had vegetables, so I can’t have had too much junk food today.” Hegave me a sweet smile and a peck on the lips.

Pure manipulation.

“You have the eating habits of a highteenager.” I narrowed my eyes. “I’m not going to let you make yourself sickbecause you don’t take care of yourself.”

He melted into me. “You’re so cute.”

“You’ve got a hole in your head.” Tannerrolled his eyes but didn’t seem to be glaring at me with the same concern, so Iwas taking it as a step in the right direction. “Now stop flirting with him andhelp us go through the plans. Graham wants everything finalized this week so hecan start.”

Austin glanced over at Tanner beforelooking back at me and sighing. “I have no idea how he’s turned out thisboring.”

The snarky finance guy, Bradley, snorted.“Please, let me explain just where the stick is lodged.”

Wade was trying not to laugh, but it wasclear they’d lost their direction…and possibly their minds. Giving Austin’s assa smack, I pointed toward the table they’d set up in one corner. “Go work andI’ll finish that spanking later. The contractor will be here soon.”

How they’d managed to keep theirshenanigans from the contractor I’d never know. He either had to be blind orcompletely oblivious to miss the dirty jokes and bad behavior.

Austin shivered, but I could see his brainstart to shift into the right gear at the promise of another spanking later.“Yes, Master.”

Wade chuckled. “But no ‘Master’ talk whenGraham gets here.”

Austin waved his hand like that wasridiculous. “If I slip up, I’ll just tell him Silas has a weird name. It willbe fine.”

No one who was smart enough to work forTanner and Austin could be that stupid. Could they? “You guys did a backgroundcheck on this guy, right?”

I got odd looks, but Shane was the one whospoke up. “He’s my cousin. He’s a good guy and we won’t have to worry aboutgossip.”

I shrugged. “But he hasn’t noticed anythingodd with you already? I’m sorry, but this does not scream social club with sixboring omegas at the helm.”

Shane’s skeptical expression seemed toagree, but everyone else just waved off my concerns. Austin started draggingeveryone across the room as he glanced back at me and smiled. “It’s going to befine.”

Somehow, I doubted that.

But they started to get to work, ironingout details and working on listing the remaining things that had to be put intothe plans. I wasn’t paying much attention to the details of their conversation, but as I wandered around the cavernous space, I started picturing everythingthat Austin had excitedly told me and deciding what needed to be ordered.

He was right. It would be beautiful as longas they were able to describe it correctly to the contractor. I just wasn’tsure they’d be able to explain why a social club needed to be laid out sooddly. And really, what the fuck was a social club…some kind of private bar forrich omegas?

Sure, a private bar needed showers and heatproofprivate rooms—because out here we looked so much like a fucking country club.

When I heard a car door slam outside, Iglanced back over at the guys. “He’s here. It’s showtime.”

I glared at Austin. “Behave.”

He just winked at me and blew me a kiss.

Wanting to stay in the background andprevent questions as much as possible, I headed to the back of the room andtried to blend into the wall. I wasn’t worried about hiding our relationship, but Austin didn’t need the temptation of describing it to someone else.

Trouble was having fun playing with hisaudience and I wasn’t sure if he would be able to resist the lure of shockingthe contractor. It would probably depend on how boring the guy was, but Iwasn’t going to risk it.

It turned out we had a bigger problem thanAustin’s willpower.

I knew the contractor, and he knew I was asfar from vanilla as I could get because I’d been answering BDSM and sexquestions for the guy for years.

Shit.
