More kisses were sprinkled over my face asI forced my arms to work so I could wrap them around him. He chuckled as Igroaned at the effort it took. “They just don’t want to work.”

“Probably because I’m squishing you.” Hisgrin said he wasn’t planning on apologizing for it anytime soon.

“Yes, but I like being squished.” I tuggedhim down so he was stretched out over me, and I pressed my face against thecurve of his body where his shoulder met his chest. I rubbed my face against thesoft fuzz of hair and kissed him gently. “Stay just like this.”

I knew he was locked in me still andcouldn't go anywhere even if he wanted to, but I wasn’t ready for it to be overyet. He kissed my head gently and held me tight. As I breathed in his scent, Iclosed my eyes and just let the feeling of him inside me settle over me. It wasperfect.

I felt his hand stroke over my head as Iyawned and everything started to fade. “As long as you want, Trouble. As longas you want.”

The quietly whispered words sent me tosleep feeling safe while something like love wrapped around me.

Chapter 12

Silas

“I can understand the need for some laws, but this is stupid.” Austin’s voice calling out from the back stairs had thecustomer standing at the register raising an eyebrow.

Normally I wouldn’t have cared what anyone thought, but this guy was a regular who’d been coming since I first opened. Shrugging, Ijerked my thumb toward the back. “My boy doesn’t like not being allowed in theshop.”

He chuckled, nodding. “Yeah, the omegathing. It’s ridiculous. They can serve in the army and seem to run the wholefucking world but can’t buy this shit?”

I snorted, answering dryly. “I’m a boil onsociety. Can’t corrupt him, got to keep him pure as new snow.”

Austin started laughing from the back, probably falling off the stairs, he was donkey laughing so loudly. The normallyquiet alpha who always bought plugs and paid in cash grinned, but he lookedtoward the back like there was something familiar.

He hadn’t been able to see Austin as heshopped, so I wasn’t worried. Austin’s face was much more noticeable than hisvoice, so nothing should have been familiar. Even the handful of TV interviewshe’d done were a few years old at this point and he’d been driving the reporterscrazy using a breathless sex kitten voice at the time.

Something had plug guy looking off, though.

Finally,he shookhis head and grabbed his bag off the counter. “Thanks, man.”

“Anytime.” Then I glanced down at the bag.“Just let me know if you want me to do a special order for the vibrating one.”

“Sure. I’ll let you know.” Then he crackedanother smile as Austin continued to cackle. “Sounds like you have your handsfull.”

I rolled my eyes as Austin called out fromthe back about how white his snow really was. I smirked at plug guy. “You haveno idea.”

He grinned and raised one hand casually ashe headed out. The store was quiet and everything clean, so I headed toward theback and pushed aside the curtain I’d put up for Austin to hide behind.Legally, the store ended at the doorway to the back stairs, but I wasn’t goingto take any chances of a cop showing up and Austin being visible from thefront.

Austin thought I was overreacting, but allit had taken was one question and he’d stopped teasing me.What would Wadesay if you got arrested over here?

Yep, Wade was going to be my go-to threatfor anything from now on.

A spanking was definitely more of a rewardthan anything, but disappointing Wade cut right to the quick.

Pushing aside the curtain, I leaned againstthe doorframe. “You said you would be quiet when a customer came in, Trouble.”

He gave me a pretty pout, resting his headin his hands as his elbows pressed into his knees. “He sounded funny. Icouldn't hear everything, but I’m sure I could have talked him into orderingthe vibrating plug.”

Of that, I had no doubt.

“That doesn’t mean he was supposed to knowyou were back here.” Because all we needed was for someone to recognize him andfor the paparazzi to descend.

“But it’s a stupid law.” Austin puckeredhis lips, silently demanding a kiss.

The brat was bored, but he’d known hecouldn't come in when he’d stopped by, so I tried not to feel too badly overmaking him hang out in the back. But he wasn’t staying long. He was heading outto meet his friends soon. In fact, Tanner was supposed to be picking him up anyminute.

How he’d talked Tanner into driving acrosstown to pick him up just to head back uptown again, I didn’t know and wasn’tgoing to ask. I was pretty sure there’d be bribery or something I’d have topunish him for in there, and I was planning on enjoying a quiet day with himtomorrow.
