“And come.” Lane chimed in, just to make sure that was obvious.
Casey giggled. “Yes.” Then he glanced up at me. “I have a boyfriend.”
“Come on, trouble.”
He shook his head. “I’m not trouble. That’s Eli. He said you were going to kill him.”
I still might. “Say goodbye to Eli and Lane.”
Casey waved as Wilder carted Lane off down the street. Eli sighed and shook his head. “I’m going home. They’re exhausting.”
Casey giggled as Eli walked away. “He said you were going to kill him, but we were very good.”
“Yes, cutie, you didn’t tell them anything.” We’d see what he had to say about that in the morning. “Come on, you’re going home with me.”
He gave me a wide-eyed expression and licked his lips. “To get a spanking?”
My sexy boy. “Not this time. But if you still want one on Wednesday, then I’ll spank you.”
“Promise?” His expression had a hungry look to it.
“Yes, Casey. I promise.” Keeping a tight hold, because he wasn’t steady, I started leading him toward the car. He wasn’t trying to get away; if anything, my shy boy was trying to get closer.
“But I can’t get a spanking even though I was really good.” He gave me the cutest pout.
“No, I’m not mad, but you’re very drunk.”Verydrunk.
He sighed and rested his head on my shoulder as I opened the car door. “Okay, Sir.”
God, listening to him say that while he was so out of it might kill me.
“Come on, climb in for me.” Helping him into the car would have been easier with more hands, but we finally got him safely buckled. As I shut the door and started walking around the front of the car, I saw him yawn and close his eyes. A sleeping Casey wouldn’t be easy to get in the house, but it beat having to deal with a pouting boy the whole ride home because he couldn’t have a spanking.
****
I heard Casey’s groan before I even got to the door of the guest room. Knocking quietly, I opened the door when all I got was another moan. “You awake?”
“No.” Another groan came from a pile of covers on the bed. “My head exploded and splattered all over the ceiling of…wherever I am.”
I didn’t bother to hide my chuckle as I went deeper into the room. “You’re in my guest room.”
Sitting down on the bed, I set his coffee and painkillers on the nightstand. The lump moved, but Casey seemed to be set on hiding, so I reached out and ran my hand over what I thought was his back. “I have coffee and something for your head.”
A low sigh escaped. “That sounds perfect, but then I’d have to look you in the face, so I’m good where I am. Eli’s evil.”
I laughed. “Come on. Caffeine, then we have to get you home so you can get ready for work.”
The lump on the bed had started to rise but then slumped back down. “Work is evil too.”
Pulling the covers down, I finally got to his face. Smiling, I leaned over and kissed his probably aching head. “You’ll feel better in a few minutes.”
He sighed again but slowly sat up, his hair sticking up in a thousand different directions. “I don’t remember coming here.”
Well, at least he wasn’t upset at me. “You were…slightly inebriated, and Eli called me because he didn’t want to leave you at your house alone. There was also the matter of Lane being very drunk as well and him having his hands full.”
Casey groaned and covered his face with his hands. “Oh…”
I had a feeling his memory was starting to get clearer. “From what I understand, you and Lane were very well behaved because you didn’t overshare, and he didn’t ask you what you liked.”
