After watching Brent cough when his water went down the wrong way, Calen thought that maybe he should stop asking questions when Brent had anything in his mouth. He didn’t seem to be coordinated enough to swallow and listen at the same time.

“Do you have trouble swallowing? If you do, that should probably go on the list. It would be something that I need to know, as I plan on making great use of your mouth.” Calen tried for dry and serious, but he could tell that he wasn’t fooling Brent because after he stopped choking again, he glared at Calen.

Sliding Brent’s water away from his plate, Calen shook his head. “I’m not sure it’s a good idea for you to drink anything else. Explaining to your brothers that you choked to death is not high on my to-do list.”

“Then stop asking me things like that when I have something in my mouth.” Brent was shifting in his seat again but his eyes still seemed to be shooting daggers at Calen. He looked like he couldn’t decide if he was angry or turned on.

Probably both.

Calen just seemed to have that effect on Brent.

“You still haven’t answered my question. Should I repeat it?” He’d figure out a way to say it way naughtier if he had to.

“That will not be necessary.” Then Brent’s businesslike exterior cracked as he wiggled again. “That would be fine as well.”

“Good to know. I’ll note that you have no objections to being stimulated while restrained.”

The shifting and fidgeting coming from Brent was getting worse. It gave Calen so many good ideas. “Do you enjoy being watched while you are being stimulated?”

Brent didn’t even have anything in his mouth this time but he still swallowed funny and cleared his throat. “I…I have no objection to it, depending on the situation and scenario.”

That was a yes. Calen wondered if Brent’s enjoyment of being watched extended to the club. “Have you ever had thatsituationarise in a more public setting?”

Brent’s eyes widened a bit and this time his body stilled while he processed the question. Calen thought the response was interesting. Did the change in behavior mean that Brent found the idea troubling or more arousing than he’d expected? Brent had marked exhibitionism as a ‘maybe’ on the list so it could have been either one.

Looking down at his breakfast and poking at his food, Brent took a moment before he responded, “I have always been more reluctant to consent to that type of scenario, but it is not completely off the table.”

So he liked the idea, but he probably wasn’t comfortable with it. The shower this morning might have made Brent think about being watched more than he had in the past. Calen wanted Brent to be his, but he found the idea of showing the sub off, even just a little, incredibly arousing.

Thoughts flashing back to the club, Calen could easily picture displaying Brent in one of the semi-private rooms while jerking him off or playing with him. Oh, they were definitely going to be coming back to this discussion.

“It will have to be a topic we go into in more detail. I find the idea quite…interesting.” Calen didn’t bother trying to hide his pleasure at the fantasies that were running through his head.

“Is it something you’ve done before? I can’t remember you mentioning it.” Brent set his fork down and looked at Calen curiously.

“Occasionally, when something arose at a particular establishment we both belong to, but it was not an activity I set out to do. However, in this case, I find the idea of something more planned a distinct possibility—after our discussion, of course.” Calen didn’t want Brent to think he’d ever spring something like that on him. “And after we made sure of the surroundings and privacy from specific individuals.”

Brent grinned and relaxed back in his seat. “I’d appreciate that. My family is pretty open but notthatopen.”

“Agreed. And your family is entirely too bossy and opinionated. I’d never hear the end of the suggestions.” Calen imagined Garrett fussing at him or Grant trying to run the scene.

Laughing, Brent shook his head. “That’s just wrong.”

“But I’m right. You know it.”

“I’m not even going to respond to that—” Brent was interrupted by the buzzing of his phone. Looking down, he frowned and glanced back up at Calen. “I’m sorry, it’s Garrett. If it’s work—”

Calen cut in. “No, answer it. It might be important.”

Brent slid his finger across the screen and picked up the phone. “Hello?”

Listening to the short, one-sided conversation, Calen didn’t pick up much, but it seemed to be about some kind of meeting because Brent kept nodding and saying things like “I’ll be there” and “Was there anything I need to bring?” At the end of the conversation, he looked up at Calen and smiled.

“No, he’s right here. We’re having breakfast at that diner over by the gym, if you must know. We met at the gym and worked out already this morning. I’ll tell him. I’m sure he will. Now leave me alone and go back to work. I have the week off. Remember?” Smirking at whatever Garrett said, Brent hung up the phone.

“What was that about?”

“Garrett and Wyatt have invited us over to Garrett’s house for dinner. Wyatt’s handling everything and they want us to show up at six. Sound good to you?”
