I waited, unsure whether he was winding me up or genuinely trying to help me.

Fuck it.

"But I've never kissed anyone before."

He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against mine, one hand around my neck and one tight around my waist.

I can't breathe with him this close to me.

"Want me to teach you that too?" He smiled softly, his lips gently touching my neck as I gasped, my mouth turning to find his as he brought his face up to mine.

"You want me to be your first kiss? Are you sure?" He was so close I could taste him, and right now, I didn't care if he kissed me because he was getting paid to do it or felt sorry for me.

"Yes," I mumbled as he held my face in his hands.

"Just follow what I do, don't think about it."

I nodded, my heart beating so loudly in my ears that I worried he would hear it. But instead, his lips brushed mine, and I realized I was trembling as I kissed him back, his tongue slowly entering my mouth as I copied him, causing him to groan as he pulled me tighter towards him, our mouths beginning to move in sync. He pushed me against the wall as he kissed me hard, my fingers in his hair when he bit my lip softly, making me moan in desire. I didn't know how long we kissed, but I knew that I wanted to cry once it was over. I didn't realize it would be so amazing.

"Wow, fuck. Are you sure I was your first kiss?" Bailey muttered as he pulled away, his lips swollen as he stared at me.

I nodded and bit my lip as his eyes darkened.

"Yeah, don't bite your lip like that with your hair all tousled, looking sexy. It could cause the guy all kinds of unwanted problems."

I smiled and stared at the floor as his hand slid into mine.

"I'll take you home. Successful date, yeah?"

"Yeah. I agreed.

Wow. I just kissed Bailey Fenton!

Don’t Be

The weekend was finally here, and I took advantage of sleeping in late. When I woke, I blinked slowly, the blanket of sleep wrapping itself firmly around me. The room was unbearably warm as the sun streamed in through my open blinds, the sound of laughter drifting up from the garden below. I was about to drift back into blissful sleep when I heard a rapping at the front door.

Someone, please get it...

The rapping continued as I realized whoever was in the garden couldn’t hear the front door. I groaned as I swung my legs out before walking down the stairs yawning. I pulled the heavy door open and squinted in the bright sunlight.

“Finally.”

Ray folded her arms as she gazed at me.

“The beach? Aurora’s party?”

I leaned against the door as Ray hovered by the door like a vampire waiting to be invited in.

“Come in then!” I exhaled impatiently as she reluctantly walked in, her eyes wide.

“Is Elijah in?” She half-whispered, looking around cautiously.

I folded my arms then, tired and slightly irritated at the interruption, when I saw the look in her eyes.

“I haven’t seen him. Why? He doesn’t mean to ignore you; he’s just a bit odd.”
