Edward sighed beside me impatiently as I watched the professor striding down toward us, her heels clicking on the floor as she winced apologetically at us.
The time dragged, and as soon as my class finished, I hauled my ass to the exit, my heart pounding at the thought of seeing Theo again.
"Isn't that your ride?" Edward drawled from beside me as he acknowledged Theo's car.
I gazed at it, looking at Theo leaning on the bonnet, his large sunglasses covering his eyes. I struggled to make out his expression as he folded his arms over his chest.
I grinned, turning to say goodbye to Edward.
"It's Theo. Gotta go, see you after the holiday." I smiled, hurrying down the steps toward Theo.
He held his hands out as I jumped into his arms, still unable to believe how lucky I felt having him there with me.
Theo released me, glowering over my shoulder.
Edward had followed me.
"Can I help you?" Theo raised his eyebrows at Edward, his arm possessively around my waist as I went to introduce them.
"Nah, I just need Hannah a sec." Edward smiled thinly as he gazed at me. "Hannah, there's a party at Ali's on Saturday, if you want to go?"
