He kissed me then, and my body responded by wrapping itself around him.

I was his, and he was mine.

SUMMER:

Dad, we have landed! See you soon xoxo

My body exhaled a sigh of relief when I saw the text.

"Guys, they've landed!" I called out as Gretchen clapped her hands together happily. I wasn't quite sure where I was when they all grew up so damn quickly, but I did know that I was proud of them.

So proud.

Across from me were Zane and Layla, still in that post-wedding bliss that seemed to be lasting a long time, all secret whispers and smiles as they kissed constantly. I wasn't surprised when Zane called us with the news. It fitted him, constantly shying away from attention.

Unlike Caleb's wedding, which resembled a fairground. But I couldn't recall too much detail due to the whiskey bar.

Alice walked in, wearing a stunning black dress that hugged her curves. She was growing up rapidly, and despite my initial fears of her dating a mobster, I had to admit she was too in love with him to care about any consequences. The lifestyle suited her, and her fearless attitude to life, in general, would serve her well.

She was still a Fallon, though; he was yet to convince her to marry him. I chuckled softly as she raised an eyebrow at me, moving her soft white fringe from her eyes. Her diamond ring sparkled under the light as I watched her.

"What now? You aren't going to start banging on about me marrying old man Deacon again, are you?" she huffed as she crossed her legs. She checked her phone, frowning as she typed.

"No, honey. You marry who the fuck you want."

"Haha. Yeah, Lucas would disagree with you there."

Alice's eyes lifted as Lucas strolled in, wearing a suit as always. He shook my hand, clasping it warmly before turning to Zane and doing the same. He was such a handsome bastard, but then again, he had met his match with Alice. I'd seen mob bosses with women, and this man waswhipped. I knew when he left her that night that he would be back, although I hoped it wasn't with a wife in tow.

Business always came first to these men- I'd nearly become one myself once upon a time.

"What wouldn't I agree with, beautiful?" he leaned down to kiss her as I groaned, making him chuckle.

"Daddy was just saying I could marry whoever the fuck I want."

Lucas met my gaze as he chuckled.

"Who do you want to marry, Alice?"

"No one."

"You're a fucking liar," he yawned, leaning back onto the sofa behind her. She rolled her eyes before slipping her hand onto his thigh. She didn't want to admit it, but she was in love.

"Richie said the sugar didn't spill, whatever the fuck that means."

I chuckled softly as Lucas nodded, his arm wrapped around her.

"Richie thinks he's clever with all these code words and shit. In other words, everything is ok."

"Where's Caleb and Jade?" asked Zane suddenly, as I frowned.

"They're working. Shit timing, but they will come tomorrow or whenever."

He nodded before glancing at Alice.
