“You like them that much?”
“Yes. The sight of them makes me wet.” Caressing the corner of my mouth, she whispers, “So wet.”
If she wasn’t high, I’d fuck her right now.
Staring into my eyes, she sighs, “Help me out here. Smile for me. I can’t think of a joke to make you laugh.”
A chuckle slips out of me at her adorableness.
“There they are,” she purrs, kissing my cheek one by one. “So sexy.”
Satisfied, her arms loop around my neck and her face rests against my shoulder. I rub her back and cross the lobby afterstepping out of the elevator. Seth opens the back door as we approach the car. I duck inside and lay Iris on the seat with her head on my lap. She’s out like a light before Seth even starts the engine.
The smile never leaves my face as I stare at my entire world sleeping peacefully.
Chapter Twenty-Seven
Iris
My head feels as heavy as a lead weight. However, it’s the dryness in my throat and my lips that startles me awake.
The bulky arm around my waist tightens as I twist and slowly open my eyes. I recognize Kian’s master bedroom by studying the ceiling.
When did I get here?
Wasn’t I at Bianca’s apartment with her and Rosalie?
“That was yesterday, Rainbow.”
Kian’s groggy and masculine voice sends a shiver down my spine. His face comes into view as he leans on his elbow and stares at me mischievously.
“I’m thirsty,” I murmur, licking my lips. Why does it feel like I haven’t drank water in ages? My memories are pretty fuzzy from yesterday.
Kissing the side of my head, Kian rises to grab me a glass of water from the nightstand.
I sit up, making the sheets drop to my waist. My nipples pucker as cold air caresses my naked upper body. Whoa, I don’t even remember him taking off my clothes.
“Drink,” commands Kian softly.
Taking the glass, I gulp it down greedily. Water has never tasted so good. Passing it back, I sheepishly utter, “How much wine did I drink yesterday?”
Leaning against the headboard, he makes me straddle his thighs. I squirm on his rock-hard cock as it comes to rest right between my folds.
“It’s not wine making you thirsty.” He smirks. “It’s the marijuana.”
“What?” I screech in alarm. “I don’t… We didn’t smoke.”
“It was in the brownies you ordered.”
“They were drugged?” My voice pitches even higher. “But they tasted delicious.”
Kian holds in his laughter at my betrayed expression.
I rack my brain for what happened after we ate it. Wait… me stupidly trying to show him how to fly wasn’t a dream? My jaw drops in embarrassment.
“Did I say I wanted to lick you up in front of my friends?”
“You may have.”
