I beamed at Ollie. “I’m good. Really good. Let’s get you to school.
After dropping Ollie to school on time, and giving him extra hugs at the school gate, I made it to the Windward. I called out hellos to my crew as I walked to the locker room.
I wanted to see Caden. I nibbled on my bottom lip. I was a little nervous to see him. He’d pulled back so many times and he was so hard to read, but all signs were leaning to him wanting to bang my brains out. And I really, really wanted that.
Opening my locker, my heart did a little somersault. There was another bar of Dandelion sitting inside.
He liked me.
My smile morphed into a full-on grin, and I enjoyed the pleasant shiver. Yes, I wanted to get my hands on him.
I turned, and jolted when I saw Sierra standing there, with her arms crossed, looking at me intently.
“Morning,” I squeaked.
“Good morning.” She stepped closer. “You look like you had sex.”
“What?” I touched my hair.
She shook her head. “You don’t have sex hair, it’s that dreamy look you’ve got on your face.”
Instantly I schooled my features and gave her my best frown. “I don’t do dreamy.”
“I know. I’ve never seen this look on you.” She lowered her voice. “I thought you said that you and Caden only kissed.”
“That’s true.” Technically. “Mostly.”
Sierra looked like a pissed-off pixie. “A kiss doesn’t make you float in here emanating sunshine.”
“It does if it’s done right. I promise you, we haven’t slept together.”
Her eyes narrowed. “So Dark and Broody hasn’t stuck a body part inside you.”
I squirmed. “Sierra.”
“You’re avoiding the question.”
“Only his fingers.” I felt heat in my cheeks. “And tongue.”
Her eyes popped wide. “Oh my God, what happened?”
“Well, the fingers were the other night…”
Her blue eyes went wider. “In the bar?”
I nodded. “He was…not happy I was potentially meeting another guy there. Then last night, he drove me home and walked me to my front door. He’sreallytalented with his tongue. And I have stubble burn…on my thighs.”
Sierra squealed. “Hot. Who knew Mr. Dark and Silent had it in him?” She fanned her face. “Okay, cocktails tonight. No excuses. You’renotgetting out of it. Tessa’s going to arrange for Ollie to have a sleepover at her aunt’s place with the kids.”
Oh, Ollie would love that. Emily had four kids. The oldest, Josh, was in college, Leo in high school, then Caleb and Haley, whom Ollie adored, were only a few years older than him. They went to the same school. “I don’t know, it is a school night.”
“He’s five, Allie.”
“Okay, cocktails.” I knew none of them would let me get out of this. “Now I need to get to work.”
“Go. Lucky girl.” Sierra pouted. “There have been zero glorious orgasms in my life.”
I grinned at her. “I highly recommend them.”
