I had made the right decision in getting back to work.
Honestly, I hadn’t realized I had missed it.

Just then, my satellite phone rang.
I checked it and then answered it, “Sir?”
His raspy voice came over the line, “Glad to have you back.”
Then he disconnected.
I knew why he was saying that.
I had just gotten intel for them that they had been desperately needing about a coordinated attack that was going to rock half of the Middle East.
And we couldn’t allow that to happen.
I had also finished the sessions and the tattoo I had, was now gone.
