“Was that an explosion? Talk to me, Psycho,” I shout over the earpiece.

Toby scrambles to his feet, gun drawn, wild-eyed. “Sophie’s coming with me!” he shouts, stretching his hand toward her. “Come on, baby.”

His darkened eyes meet mine. “You’re not the only one with a team, Mavis Marticon.”

He’s figured out my other identity. And now knows I’m not just a ruthless biker but also a ruthless businessman.

I pull Sophie into my side and aim my Glock at his head.

The building shakes again.

Toby falls to the floor and fires off a shot at me. I push Sophie down on the sofa. The floor is moving. I blink twice and the asshole is gone. How did he get away?

“Sweetheart, stay close.”

“Okay.” Panic’s clear in her voice.

“Psycho, give me something,” I order.

“I’m checking. Move toward the back door.”

“Webbs, get Legos and Tonya. Meet us at the back door.”

“On it, Ruthless.”

Flock and Flex wave their Glocks around the darkened room.

“Phantom, come in,” I snap.

“We’re here!” he answers. “Fuse and I are moving toward the exit. Place is coming apart. Structural damage everywhere.”

“Be careful, cousin,” I say.

“We’re coming, Ruthless. Nobody gets left behind.”

My heart races in my chest. I can’t lose any of my brothers. I need everyone to get out of here alive.

The screaming and crying continues. It sounds like a stampede is making its way to the front door. Luckily, the patrons don’t know where the back door is located.

“Legos and Tonya have to be okay,” I mutter.

“Mavis, we have to wait right here until Webbs get’s back with them. Sophie claws at my suit jacket.”

“Baby, let my brother work. We have to get you to the back door. They want you. I won’t let them take you from me.”

She pulls my spare Glock from my waist holster and flicks on the tactical light.

We move toward the exit together.

“Ruthless?” I hear at my back.

“Webbs?” I call out.

Tonya walks ahead of Webbs and Legos. I exhale.

Sophie embraces her.

“Let’s get out of here,” I say.
