Shaw eyed Eedie’s Lululemon outfit and nodded. “Come on out here.”
Shaw showed her a few moves, and Eedie was practically bouncing on her feet as she performed some of the movements.
“Dad, come over here and try to get me out of this stance,” Eedie ordered.
Webber, who’d been doing a hot-guy lean against the back wall talking quietly to Shaw’s dad, pointed out, “Honey, I can get you on the floor in two seconds flat. And that’s not even because I have experience in martial arts. You’re just a little bit of a thing, and that would take literally nothing to get you on the mats.”
Eedie narrowed her eyes, and I had to cover my mouth because that glare was definitely patented by the elder Webb.
“Father.” Eedie pointed at the mat. “Come here and show me your moves.”
Webber rolled his eyes and kicked off his boots before he got onto the mat.
Castle chuckled as he watched Webber walk in his white socks across the mats toward his daughter.
“Show me,” she ordered. “This feels really sturdy.”
Webber studied her for a second, sighed, and then did a complicated movement that even I didn’t have mastered yet.
One second Eedie was standing, and the next Eedie was on the ground laughing her ass off with her dad holding her in a hold that was impossible to get out of.
“Okay, okay.” Eedie never stopped giggling. “You’ve proven you’re the big bad biker dad, and I’m the weenie teen girl.”
Castle walked up then, his arms crossed over his chest, and said, “It may seem daunting right now, but give us six months, and you might be able to do something other than lie there and wait for him to let you go.”
“Ohhh, like what? What would you have had me do in that situation?” Eedie bounced on her butt when her dad let her up.
“Silver, since you’re more Eedie’s size, come over here and lie on the ground,” Castle ordered.
I felt my face flame, but no way was I going to not do this. This was my every dream, having Webber pinning me to the ground.
So it was in a dojo, with plenty of people watching on…I’d take what I could get.
I crawled across the floor instead of standing up, and I shit you not, Webber’s eyes flared.
I bit my lip and looked away from the intense stare he was giving me, my eyes staring at Webber’s thighs.
My god, I wanted to feel the power of those thighs…
“Okay, on your belly like Eedie was,” Castle urged.
I lay down flat on my belly, my arms up high over my head, and nearly groaned when he lay over the top of me, pinning me to the ground like he’d had Eedie minutes before.
Only, this time it wasn’t anyway near the same as it’d been for Eedie.
This felt charged.
Electricity zinged through my veins as Castle spoke, and I tried to remember how to breathe.
“Okay, do what you can, Sil,” Castle ordered.
I did, because I was trying to help Eedie learn.
I gave it everything I had and accomplished nothing but finding myself in different holds—him being the dominator of the game.
“Well, hmmm,” Eedie said. “I thought you said she could get out?”
“Webber, act like you know nothing about what you’re doing,” Castle said. “Just pretend like you’re a normal person that knows the basics.”
