“Uh, well, I don’t think we can sneak into the arena right now. Maybe the bunkhouse?” I said as I watched the rest of the group make for the far pasture.

Luke snorted. “Not what I mean. Surprisingly, but no.” He picked up his shirt from the grass, swept the fabric under each arm, and then tossed it back to the ground.

He looked so good, standing there in the fading light, half naked. I licked my lips as my cock started to fill again.

Luke pulled away from my intense gaze and pointed to where Noah sat on the steps of the main house, which had been entirely abandoned now everyone was on their way to the bonfire. Even the curious onlookers had returned to whatever the resort offered on a Friday evening.

Noah had put his shirt back on, but his flushed cheeks and messed-up hair made him as delectable as Luke.

“Grab a beer and follow me,” Luke said as he walked over to Noah and whispered in his ear. Noah laughed and shook his head. Luke said something else, and Noah looked at me, something hungry in his gaze. They spoke together briefly; then Noah stood.

“Aren’t we going to the bonfire?” I asked, gesturing with my beer towards the others. They were far in the distance.

Luke shook his head. “Nah. Too much smoke and socializing for my taste. Plus, the mosquitos are awful.”

“Then, what?”

Luke gestured to the back door of the main house. “So, Adam has the best room in this place. And I asked if we could use his huge soaker tub while everyone was at the bonfire.”

I could already feel the clean water on my sweaty skin as Luke spoke. “He said yes?”

Luke nodded. “As long as we tidy up when we’re done. You want to?”

“Sure. All—” I glanced at Noah. “—three of us?”

“Sure. Why not? You got a problem with Noah?”

I glanced at Noah, but he wouldn’t meet my gaze. “Not at all.”

“Good. Come on.”

Luke pushed the door open as we followed him inside.

The house was shadowy and dark, with only some emergency lights coming from empty offices.

“Are you sure Connor isn’t in here catching up on some work?” Noah asked Luke.

“No, I saw him with the others heading to the pasture,” Luke said. “Nobody’s here. Only the three of us.”

Noah hesitated as Luke started up the stairs to the second floor. “Adam really said you could use his room?”

“I think he wanted Jensen to be impressed by the size of his…bathtub,” Luke smirked. “That cowboy’s got everyone trying to impress him.”

I shrugged. “I’m not sure why. I’m nobody. Just a guy looking for a decent job.”

Noah came up the stairs behind me as I trailed Luke closely.

“Looking hot as fuck in your cowboy hat and sliding into the kink like nobody’s business. Yeah, you’re nothin’.” Luke laughed.

“I have no idea what I’m doing,” I said.

Luke stopped in the upstairs hallway and turned to face me. “I call bullshit. You’ve got everyone by the balls the way you are in the grooming barn. And out of the barn? You’re like this wide-eyed innocent at every turn but you’re up for anything. And I’m taking control now. ’Cause if someone doesn’t, you’re gonna burn out in another week. These guys will make mincemeat of you.”

“Oh, come on,” I said. “That’s ridiculous. I can handle them.”

Luke raised his brows. “Oh, really? Well, we’re never gonna know because you’re mine and nobody else gets to mess with you.” He glanced behind me. “Except maybe him. If he’s a good boy and you want him to.”

We walked farther down the hall before I said, in a shaky voice, “I have no issue with Noah messing with me.”
