I swallowed. “Hi.”

“Not as good as Jensen’s weiner though,” Luke muttered, grinning devilishly. “His is particularly edible and very juicy.”

This time I did choke. I coughed and sputtered and managed to get the bread out of my windpipe. My eyes watered as I took a drink.

“Don’t look so fucking shocked, cowboy,” Luke said. “Noah and I have a long standing…friendship. If you’re a good boy and make me happy, maybe you can be a part of our friendship too. But only if I allow it. Got it?” Luke’s deep-blue eyes conveyed all the hidden meanings of his sentence very clearly, causing my cock to press harder against the denim of my jeans.

“S…so, I have to share you but you don’t want me to fool around with anyone else?”

Luke inclined his head slightly. “Well, when you put it like that, it does seem unfair. But that’s the deal. You only have to share me with Noah. And he’s so fucking sweet I can’t even imagine you being upset about him.”

Luke was perceptive because I wasn’t upset about it. I was intrigued. I turned to Noah who continued to eat his supper quietly.

“So, you and Luke, huh? I never would have guessed.”

Noah shrugged and gave me a shy smile. “We keep it quiet. Luke doesn’t want the other guys teasing me.”

I turned slowly to stare at Luke, eyebrows raised. “But they can tease me?”

Luke shrugged, and licked his lips. “I figured you could handle it,” he said to me. “And I really wanted to fuck you in the showers.”

Lying in bed at the bunkhouse later, my mind whirled over everything that had happened over the past forty-eight hours. I wondered if I was the same person who had innocently driven to this hidden resort a day and a half ago. I didn’t think I was.

Which wasn’t a bad thing. I only felt irrevocably changed.

It had been years since I’d had any kind of purpose. I had a place here and I didn’t feel invisible anymore.

My ass was sore from the adventure in the showers, but I liked that. It reminded me it was real and not a figment of my imagination. The entire experience with Luke had blown my mind. If it had only been some fun between two horny guys, I would have valued it.

But it had been more. Luke had wanted me, and still wanted me, all to himself to do with as he pleased. And the idea made me more excited than anything. Maybe I was the kinkiest of the entire bunch.

I gazed at the grey leather of my hat, hanging on a nail I’d hammered into the end of my bunk. The hat reminded me of who I had been and who I still, in some ways, was. I wondered who I would be a month from now.

Luke was asleep in the bunk above me, but a soft voice called out in the nearby darkness. “Jensen?”

Noah.

I turned my head and saw the shadow of Noah’s form crouched beside my bunk.

“Yeah?”

“I don’t like the rain.”

My addled brain couldn’t figure the statement out. It had started to rain as I had made my way back to the bunkhouse, and now the sounds were loud against the roof. But why was Noah telling me this?

“Okay?”

“Can I…can I come in with you? To snuggle. I don’t want anything else, and Luke would be pissed. But I just…” The frustration in Noah’s voice was heartbreaking. He sounded fearful and ashamed, angry at himself because he was reduced to begging. “I only want to snuggle. Until the storm is over. Then I’ll go back to my bunk. I promise.”

I stared at Noah for a long moment in the dark, but I found it impossible to refuse. Though I doubted I’d get much sleep sharing my narrow bunk with Noah, no matter how innocent it was supposed to be.

But maybe it was about time I exercised some self-control in this hedonistic space. I was perfectly able to be with someone in a platonic sense and might find Noah’s presence comforting, if I could only keep the thoughts of how Noah looked in his fetish gear out of my head—at least for the time it took for the rain to stop and for Noah to go back to his own bed.

I lifted the blanket. “Sure. Come on.”

“God, thank you.” Noah slipped smoothly into the bed and pressed himself against my back, trembling as a crash of thunder sounded nearby. “I’d be nervous getting into bed with anybody else, even Luke, ’cause it’d end up being something else entirely.” Noah said. “But I trust you, Jensen. I don’t know why, but you strike me as a gentleman. Maybe it’s the whole cowboy thing. I believe you’ll be respectful of my boundaries.”
