“Fuck, Jade,” he groaned, his hands gripping my hips as he drove into me. “Your pussy feels so good wrapped around my cock.”

His words sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn’t stop the moan that escaped my lips. My body arched to meet his thrusts, the friction sending sparks of pleasure shooting through me. The sound of skin against skin filled the room, mingling with our ragged breaths and my soft cries.

“You’re so tight,” he hissed, his pace quickening. “So perfect.”

My nails dug into his arms as I clung to him, my body trembling as I felt the familiar coil of tension building in my core. Damian’s movements became rougher, more erratic, and I knew he was close too.

“Come for me,” he growled, his voice a raw command. “Now, Jade.”

His words were my undoing. The tension inside me snapped, and I cried out as pleasure crashed over me in waves, leaving me shaking and breathless. Damian followed moments later, his grip on me tightening as he buried himself deep, a guttural moan escaping his lips.

I couldn’t stop the whine as his release jetted against my cervix, and if it weren’t for my IUD, I’d beg him to pull out. But I didn’t.

Instead I lay there in his arms and pretended we were something else for a little bit. Then I shivered as he pulled out his softening cock and breathed against my lips. The kiss he gave me then left me dizzy, and butterflies fluttered around my belly.

For a few moments, the room was silent except for the sound of our labored breathing. Damian’s weight pressed down on me, his warmth grounding me. It was so fucking perfect, but as the haze of pleasure faded, reality crept back in.

Damian pulled away, his eyes locked on mine as he leaned down to remove the belt he’d wound around my wrists. “We’re far from done, Jade,” he murmured, his voice soft but firm. “I still want the truth.”

I swallowed hard, my heart pounding. Damian wasn’t going to let me go—not until he had everything he wanted. I wasn’t sure I’d survive the aftermath of that.

I couldn’t remember when I fell asleep, but I was wrapped in silk when I woke up, and for a moment it was strange looking at Damien’s bedroom during sunrise.

My head was pounding and my throat dry. The bed beneath me was impossibly soft, the kind of luxury I’d only ever seen in magazines. It took a moment for the events of the previous night to come rushing back. Damian. His punishments. His piercing blue eyes holding me captive. Him literally holding me captive.

Then him abandoning me afterward. Leaving me a soppy wet mess in his bedroom, and locking the door.

Tears pressed against my eyes as I threw the blanket off me and stumbled to my feet. The room was enormous, all sleek lines and muted grays, the decor both minimalist and expensive. It screamed Damian.

I had to get out of here.

“You’re awake.”

His voice rolled through the air lazily, sending a shiver down my spine. I spun around to see Damian standing in the doorway of his bathroom, his presence filling the room as if he owned not just the space but everything in it, including me.

“Let me go,” I demanded, my voice firm despite the tremor in my hands.

He leaned casually against the doorframe, the faintest smirk tugging at his lips. “You’re staying here until I decide what to do with you.”

Anger flared in my chest. “You can’t just keep me here! I’m not your prisoner.”

His smirk deepened a glint of amusement in his eyes. “You’re whatever I want you to be.”

The audacity of his words knocked the breath out of me. My fists clenched at my sides as I glared at him, but he didn’t move. He just watched me, calm and unyielding, as if waiting for me to exhaust myself.

“You have no right—”

“Stop.” The single word, spoken so softly, cut through my protests and left me blinking. He pushed off the doorframe and took a step toward me, his gaze pinning me in place. “Before you carry on, just remember that you’re in my world, Jade. And I don’t take orders from the help.”

I swallowed hard, my heart pounding against my ribs. The help. Well, fuck him too, I thought, hating myself for the flicker of attraction that ignited in his presence, for the way my body betrayed me even as my mind screamed to run.

He moved closer, and I instinctively backed away, my calves bumping against the edge of the bed. His eyes softened, just for a moment, and it was enough to make my breath hitch. Then his gaze dropped, and his jaw tightened.

“What’s this?”

It wasn’t until his fingers brushed against my wrist that I realized what he’d noticed. The scars. Pale and faded but unmistakable, a roadmap of pain I thought I’d hidden well enough.
