“Yes,” she answered breathlessly.

I pushed inside and held still until she wrapped her legs around my waist, high enough to raise her hips, and for me to feel every cold inch of flesh warm around my cock. I fucked her hard and fast. She screamed and that was a first. I was sure the neighbors would be wondering what was going on. She cried out my name, another first. She tightened her legs to the point I had to work hard to move and breathe. She rocked her head from side to side and raised herself slightly off the bed. She came, her muscles clamped around me and for a moment, I panicked. She milked me, rolling her muscles over my cock until I came with her. Sweat dripped from my forehead, landing on her stomach, I gasped trying to catch my breath and she relaxed back onto the bed. I pulled out and slumped beside her.

“Oh, Braxton, that was amazing,” she said, using my full name. “The best.”

I smiled and kissed her neck; that was praise indeed coming from someone so much more experienced than me. She was the one who had opened my mind tobe in the moment and take your pleasure, don’t wait for it.

We lay in silence for about five minutes and when I thought I was able, I stood. I reached down and she took my hand. I grabbed my clothes and led her inside the house. As was customary, we showered together and then I put her to bed. I kissed her goodnight and I left, despite her asking me to stay.

It was past midnight when I stood and breathed in deeply. My body ached but it was a pleasant feeling. As evenings went it had been a fairly short one for Emilia and me. Often, because I would stay, we would fuck all night, sleep the next day, and then I’d either leave or we’d do the same all over again. She was insatiable and it was for that reason I could only spend one weekend a month with her.

Sally was awake when I entered the house. She bounded up to me wagging her tail. “I’m sorry to have left you so long, girl,” I said, crouching down and letting her nuzzle into my neck. That welcome home was worth everything. “Do you want a quick walk?” I asked and she rushed to the door, understanding.

I laughed as I grabbed her leash. It was early Sunday morning, and the streets and park were empty. I was thankful. I let Sally off her leash, and she ran ahead. I stuck to the path, believing the clearing to be empty as it was on the weekend. Despite my activities with Emilia, the thought of watching the couple still aroused me. I wasn’t concentrating when I heard a noise. I looked up to see a couple on the path, and Sally was wagging her tail and dancing around them. I called her back to me. As the couple got close and I opened my mouth to apologize, I recognized them. Rather, I recognizedher.

She smiled at me as they passed and I stood and watched her. She glanced briefly back over her shoulder and smiled once again. Clearly, they had changed their minds about the Monday to Wednesday thing, since she carried a red tartan blanket over her arm. I clipped the leash back on Sally and turned to walk back. I wasn’t following them, but I made a point to keep my distance. They left the park and I watched the woman climb behind the driver’s seat of a brand-new, white Mercedes. With a wave to her companion, she drove away. He flicked up his collar, put his hands in his pockets, and walked, thankfully, in the opposite direction to where I needed to go.

For a moment, I stood on the pavement. Sally sat beside me, looking up in confusion, I guessed. I shook my head of any thoughts and crossed the road. Once back indoors, I stripped off and dropped to my bed. I lay just thinking on the evening and laughing at what Emilia and I had done.

“Cake!” I said and chuckled some more.

Chapter Four

I spent the rest of the weekend catching up on some work and walking past the clearing. It remained empty. After seeing the woman I knew to be Darryl, I was determined to somehow bring it up. A plan formed in my mind.

I arrived at the office fairly early on Monday morning and I grabbed the mail from the relevant boxes in the lobby. After ensuring I wasn’t being watched, I took a letter from Darryl’s company mailbox and added it to my pile. I waited for the elevator and shuffled them. I gave it until mid-morning before I picked up the letter and left the office.

I walked down the stairs to the third floor and pressed on their intercom. A voice answered and I explained I was from upstairs and I had a letter for Darryl. I guess because I’d used her first name, I was let in. I could see Darryl at the other end of the room, she was leaning on the desk of a colleague and chatting, pointing at some papers. She looked up, smiled, and walked over.

I held out the envelope. “I’m sorry to bother you, this was in my mail. I thought I’d deliver it since I have to pass your floor to take it back to your mailbox.”

She took it from me and looked at it. “Junk mail, but thank you so much,” she said, smiling.

“I wasn’t sure, not that I would have made that determination,” I said, and then laughed.

“How is your dog?”

“Upstairs, being fussed over,” I replied.

“Do you have time for a coffee?” she asked, and I assumed she meant she’d make one.

I nodded. “Yeah, why not.”

She looked over her shoulder and called out to someone, “Katy, I’ll be back within the hour.” She walked to a desk near the door and grabbed her handbag. “Shall we?” she said, opening the office door.

I laughed and led the way to the elevator.

“Do you mind if we take the stairs?” she asked.

I followed her to the stairwell, and we descended. “There’s a great deli in the courtyard for coffee,” I offered.

“I’ve heard that, I haven’t tried it, though.”

As we left the building a cyclist mounted the sidewalk and I grabbed Darryl’s arm to pull her back toward me. The idiot had the audacity to curse her for causing him to wobble.

“Arsehole!” she called out and gave him the finger. I stared, wide eyed, and laughed. She cringed and said, “Sorry, London girl here.”

We walked around the corner to the deli and sat. “Was that you in the park Friday night?” she asked.
