“It’s a surprise. Wait here.”
Lucas hopped up onto the dock and jogged toward the woods where we threw our clothes. He tossed my bra and dress over his shoulder and hooked a finger under my sandal straps.
“What are you doing?”
He scooped his things into his arms and grinned at me. “Payback.”
“You wouldn’t!”
“Watch me.” He started up the wide trail with our clothes.
Oh, Lucas was going to get it good for that one.
