I swallow hard, my breath hitching as he picks up the pace.“I thought I had to be quiet?”Each thrust sends a jolt of pleasure through me, building toward something bigger, something impossible to hold back.

His hand goes over my mouth as he keeps up his punishing pace.

I gasp again, my body arching as the tension inside me becomes unbearable.“Blade...”I whisper against his hand, my voice a mix of desperation and longing.

With one last growl, he moves even faster, harder, until the world around us fades away. There’s only him, only us, as we reach the peak together, crashing over the edge in a wave of heat and sensation.

I lie there, gasping for air, my body still trembling from the wave of pleasure that just consumed me.Blade’s weight is heavy against me, his chest rising and falling with the same rapid pace as mine. For a moment, we both just stay there, connected in silence, the world outside the room completely irrelevant.

Blade shifts slightly, moving his hand from my mouth.“You bit me.”His fingers graze my sides gently, tracing patterns against my skin as if he’s trying to memorize the feeling of me in his arms.

“Did I hurt you?”

A feral look passes over his features, and he shakes his head.“No, I like it.”He leans down and kisses me, rubbing his nose against mine.“You okay?”Blade asks, his voice soft, almost tender as if he’s trying to make sure I’m not just physically all right but emotionally too.

I nod, pressing my cheek against his chest.“Yeah.Just...wow.”

He chuckles softly.“Yeah.That about sums it up.”

We lay there for a few more moments, just breathing, the steady rhythm of Blade’s heartbeat calming me in ways I didn’t realize I needed. It feels right, more right than anything has felt in a long time.

But as the moments stretch on, the quiet between us begins to settle into something deeper.Something unspoken. The tension from earlier, the playful teasing, the heat, it’s all softened into something real, something more intimate.

“I’m not good at this,” Blade admits, his voice breaking the silence. It’s quiet, almost vulnerable, and I feel a pang of something in my chest at the admission.

I lift my head to look at him, my fingers tracing the line of his jaw.“Not good at what?”

He meets my eyes, a flicker of uncertainty crossing his face, but it disappears as quickly as it came.“This.Being...whatever this is.With someone. But damn if I don’t want to try.”

I smile softly, my heart swelling with a mixture of affection and something stronger.“You’re not alone in that, Blade.”

His lips curl into a slow, sincere smile as he brushes a strand of hair out of my face.“Good, because I’m not ready to let go of this. Not you.”

The warmth of his words sinks in deep, and I can’t help the way my heart skips. It’s not just the heat between us now. It’s more than that for me.It’s trust, and it’s something that’s starting to feel as if it could last.

We stay joined together for a while longer, both of us lost in the afterglow, the weight of the world outside this room suddenly feeling distant and unimportant. There’s only us, only this moment.
