“What makes you think you know anything about my life outside the rumors?” I pause for a moment before continuing, “Though it shouldn’t matter to any of you, I’ll tell this anyway as we are now in the same team; I’m in a committed relationship with Vivian. There’s no room for bunnies in my life.”
Silas chuckles, throwing his hands up in a gesture that tells me to chill out. “Fair point. Well, it looks like you really found someone worth keeping around, huh?”
“Yeah, Vivian is so amazing,” I reply, feeling warmth in my chest at the thought of her. “She’s coming to the game tomorrow night, so maybe some of you will meet her.”
“Look at you, being all in love and shit. Good for you, Viking,” Shane comments, slapping my back. “Text her and then get ready so we can leave together.”
As my fingers glide across the screen, a broad smile spreads across my face, knowing that I absolutely love her. It’s funny how I needed a comment from Shane freaking Donahue to confirm my feelings.

My first practice as a Peacock went so damn well. I'm going to grab something to eat and drink with the guys.
She replies almost immediately.
