He advanced on me, then his hands closed around my waist, and he threw me over his shoulder in one swift motion. My handbag fell off my shoulder with a thud and dropped to the floor.

“Oh my God, you lunatic, at least let me take off my shoes.” Doing the walk of shame in soaked shoes didn’t sound particularly appealing. The clothing situation could be remedied somehow, but the shoes had to stay dry.

Dom’s rough palm stroked down my calf before gently sliding the heel off my foot. Sparks shot up my leg, right to my already aching pussy. He repeated the process on the other leg before stepping to the edge of the pool.

Effortlessly, he let me slide down his front.

“Wrap those gorgeous legs around me,” he rasped.

Spreading my thighs, I hooked my ankles at the small of his back. We were face-to-face, our breath mingling as we stared deep into each other’s eyes.

“Ready?” he asked, his voice full of mischief, his eyebrows playfully arched.

I barely managed to nod before his lips were on mine again — a quick, blazing kiss.

For a split second, Dom pulled away, his stubble rough against my lips. Softly, he said, “Hold your breath.”

Then he jumped.

Four

Dom

We resurfaced, sputtering, and just stared at each other for a moment, grinning like idiots. I blinked the water out of my eyes, and Sierra pushed her hair out of her face.

Her legs had automatically wrapped around my waist, my arm around the small of her back, while I ran my free hand over my face.

“You’re out of your mind.” She licked her lips, beads of water glistening on her eyelashes.

I winked at her. “Heard that one before.”

“Doesn’t surprise me.”

I was a total sucker for her feisty, prickly attitude. There was something unapologetic about her, like a goddess who didn’t trouble herself with the mundane concerns of mere mortals. Well, I would gladly worship at her altar.

She could be my Goddess, my Aphrodite.

The city lights sparkled behind her silhouette as I waded slowly through the water to the edge of the infinity pool. Herskin was warm against mine, soft in a way that made it difficult to focus on much else.

Thank God the water was heated — without it, the night air might’ve been too brisk.

Even after a sunny day, the mountain breeze had a bite to it. It wasn’t sharp, just different. Cleaner than what I was used to near the Georgia coast, where the humidity clung like a second skin and never really let go.

Up here the air moved more freely. It made the moment feel suspended, like we weren’t just a few stories up but somewhere else entirely.

She glanced up at me with wide, curious eyes, and something in my chest shifted.

I hadn’t planned on this. I didn’t even know whatthiswas yet — but the way she fit against me? The way her breath caught when I adjusted my grip?

It was starting to stick.

Not just attraction. Not just interest.

Something deeper.Slower. Something that felt like the beginning of a problem I didn’t want to solve.

I tightened my grip slightly. No way in hell was I letting go yet.

Sierra’s fingers entwined behind my neck, her tits pushed against my chest, and I had to force myself not to pounce on her right then and there. My dick definitely had no qualms in this regard; the motherfucker was already throbbing behind my zipper.
