“Happy to be home?” I looked up at him and he leant down, dropping a kiss to my forehead.
“I’m definitely happy to be back in Australia for a couple of weeks, but this isn’t home anymore,” he shrugged. “Home is wherever you are,” he stated matter of fact, and I melted into him.
“Comments like that are why I’m marrying you in three days, Corbin Chambers.”
“I thought it was because of the way I can make youcomeon a plane of 400 people in less than one minute?” He smirked, sending a bolt of heat to my belly at the memory.
“Mmmm,” I hummed against his lips, “that too.”
“Later,” Corbin promised with a final kiss.
“Counting on it,” I shot back, taking his outstretched hand and heading towards the Arrivals gate, ready to begin our forever in the place it all started. The place where we were born, fell in love and would now become man and wife.
“Colour?” He asked.
“Robin’s Egg Blue. You?”
“Turquoise. I want to go back to The Springs, and you can wear that bikini,” he spoke quietly and a smile split my face. Memories of the day we almost kissed flashing through my mind.
“Maybe this time we won’t be interrupted,”
“Even if we are, I won’t hesitate this time.” He promised with a wink, and I leant into him, wondering if those Springs would still be considered such a pure natural monument if we dirtied them up a little.
“But first, I want a good coffee,” Corbin said, looking around the terminal and pulling me from my own filthy mind.
“We have good coffee,” I replied, halting our movements at the horror of his words.
“You have coffee, Australia hascoffee.” Only laughing at my scrunched brow, he tugged me forward until I was right by his side again.
“Come on, Canada, follow me,” he mumbled into my hair as he placed another kiss to the top of my head.
“Always,” I promised before sighing in contentment, feeling truly lucky to be marrying the boy next door.
