She paused, her body stilling as she took in his words. With a slight, small smile playing on her lips, she rolled her hips until he groaned.

‘I’m getting addicted to us, too,’ she breathed.

His cock twitched inside her as they kissed long and hard.

‘You drive me wild, woman, so beautiful.’

They moved in sync, passion fueling their desire and need to be one.

‘All I know is that I want to be filled with you.’

Her words filled his soul with a burning ache.

Fokk, this was heaven, his lycan spirit roaring above them as they moaned, gliding over each other in perfect harmony.

Their souls entwined in a passion so intense that when they both came, an electric incandescence fell over them in shards of silver light.

SABA

Saba woke slowly, stretching and savoring the aching reminder of her lovemaking with Mak, a sated smile curled on her lips.

Her eyes remained closed as she slid her limbs to the space beside her, which Mak usually occupied. She found the space empty.

It was unusual for him not to be in bed. Since moving into his primary residence, they typically woke up together.

Mak always rose before her, coaxing her into wakefulness with a cup ofkahawaand mind-blowing kisses.

Saba jolted upright, spotting a note flashing on her comm tab. It was scrawled in Mak’s familiar handwriting. She leaned over to read it.

‘Had to leave urgently, work matter. Sleep in and send for a flyer when you’re ready to come to Signet HQ.’

His initial, M, was at the bottom.

Just as she finished reading, she heard the rumble of a flyer. She moved quickly, hoping Mak was still nearby.

She rose from bed, grabbed a robe, and hurried barefoot to the staircase. She climbed it eagerly, rushing to the terrace doors.

When she thrust open the thick, security-grade door, she stepped outside into the cold early morning.

She was too late.

The craft’s blades whipped through the air as it flew away, its silver and black silhouette disappearing over the lake.

Saba sighed, missing him, longing to have woken with his lips on hers.

The need for him gripped her, and she paused, taking a deep breath to steady herself as she held onto the railing.

She made her way to the living area, calling for a flyer as she prepared a light breakfast of a poached egg, fruit, andkahawa, a combination of proteins, vitamins, and a pick-me-up.

After a shower, she slipped into a sleek, fitted jumpsuit and boots.

The flyer was waiting for her, blades cutting through the early sun. The pilot waved as she climbed in.

A copilot, with their helmet on, gave her a quick nod.

The machine lifted off, and as they soared higher, Saba gazed out at the beautiful morning.

The view ofthe Sombrabelow was stunning: the lake, various decks, the concourse, and high above it all, the executive level.
