“You okay Liv?”
She looked up at him and graced him with the prettiest smile.
“Yes sir, I’m okay. Is my bath ready?”
“It is, babygirl. The next important question is do you want to take a bath alone or do you think it will be okay for Daddy to help you?”
Her response was immediate. “I want you to help me, Daddy.”
Holding out his hand for hers, he pulled her up and led her to the other room.
Turning her around, Miles pulled her socks and tutu off before reaching down to unfasten her onesie.
He hadn’t put a bra on her when he got her dressed this afternoon, so she now stood in front of him in nothing but her pullup.
She was just as much of a vision now as she was in her scrubs or his t-shirt.
Miles couldn’t help but love to see her in his shirt more, but this would be a close second.
She looked so carefree and that made his heart happy. He pulled off her pullup and helped her step intothe warm bathwater.
Reaching under the counter Miles pulled out a basket of bath toys before dumping them into the water with her.
Smiling at her squeal he pressed a kiss onto the top of her head before settling against the sink, Miles enjoyed watching her play with the toys.
About ten minutes later, he pulled out the wash cloth and squirted on some strawberry baby wash before beginning to wash her. He waited for her to show any signs of distress, but none came.
Miles did quickly learn that she wasn’t a fan of having her hair washed, but she only grumbled for a second before straightening up at the eyebrow raise he gave her.
Making quick work of rinsing her off, he pulled the plug from the drain before helping her out of the tub and wrapping her up in a fluffy pink towel.
Picking her up bridal style, Miles flipped off the light and headed across the hallway to his room.
He had already decided that from now on when she was there she would only be sleeping in his shirts.
If the smile that she gave him was anything to go by, it seemed like she didn’t have a problem with that either.
Pulling the covers back and helping her lay down, he pressed what should have been a quick kiss against her lips.
Groaning, Miles pulled away and winked at her before heading out to make sure the house was locked up. By the time he got back to his Little girl, she had long fallen asleep.
He got undressed, crawled into bed, and pulled her close. Not long after, falling asleep himself. It was the best way to end the night.
It was Wednesday nowand Miles couldn’t figure out what was going on with Olivia. Ever since this weekend she was acting standoffish and he didn’t like it one bit.
Pulling out his phone he shot her another text.
Miles: Hey, Little Bunny! Daddy misses you and is just checking in.
Over forty minutes had passed before she texted him back. It was odd because he knew she wasn’t at work today and while she could have been busy, Miles knew that the only thing that she ever did on her midweek day off was a house reset and catching up on her books.
Olivia was anything if not predictable about her habits. He loved that about her, but it still didn’t help that she was acting strange now.
Olivia: Hey Miles. Miss you, too. I’m fine, just busy is all.
Miles definitely didn’t like being called Miles again. He was Daddy and that wasn’t going to change.
Miles: Do you call Daddy by his name?
