The same thing that happened the very first time I transformed in Been Jammin's, and always happens when we do a flash mob dance on the floor happens.The people immediately around me notice, then it fans out like a wave through the dance hall.Some people just stop and stare.Some people look, then go back to whatever they were doing.Some people join in the dance and become part of the show.But by the time the song gets to the pause where the world may end, more than half the girls and many of the guys are a part of the dance, squatting down waiting.Every time it happens, it never ceases to amaze me.
Fucking awesome!I've got to ask if I can do this one again in my show.Maybe a salute to Britney bringing her concert venue to the Vegas strip.
We finish the dance as a group.The cheer that goes up drowns out the beginning of the next song, "Raise Your Glass" by Pink.
I watch Aurei weave his way through the standing, clapping people between us.Grinning and pumped up, I wait for him.He extends his hand to me when he arrives, and I take it, coming down off the table to be wrapped into his waiting arms."Wow!Wild Thang, my mind is truly blown away, and so is half the bar's."
I give him a butterfly kiss.I'm so happy!
He turns me to face his friends."Steve, Paul, I'd like to introduce you to The Girl of My Dreams."
I extend my hand to shake theirs."Siri to you."They laugh.
Steve and Paul are the same height and build as Aurei, but they aren't cut as dramatically as he is.
Still, either of them would be a good catch for a girl.
Steve has blonde hair, cut in a buzz, with honest blue eyes.In contrast, Paul has thick, curly black hair with twinkling brown eyes.I like them immediately, just like I liked Ann right away.
Neither of them says anything.It's always about sex and conquests with males.They simply grin at me like adolescent boys.
Aurei puts his hand on the back of my chair."Sit!"
I do as I'm told.He sits with me.Sliding his hand down the inside on my thigh, he leaves it there.He looks at Steve and Paul, who are still standing and staring."Hey, she's not a fucking alien.Sit."
They laugh and sit across from us.Right away, two girls come over to Paul and put their arms around him, lean in, whisper something in his ears while they rub his back and chest.He smiles up at them and nods.They sit down on his lap, and he gets lost in their bodies.
Steve ignores Paul and the girls and stares at me, then Aurei, then me, then Aurei.Aurei asks him."What?"
"What?Fuck man!How did you manage to land such a beautiful girl?And how long have you two been hooking up?And why am I only now meeting her?And how could you keep her a secret from me?From us?"He gestures to Paul."I thought we were bros!"He shakes his head, still gobsmacked."Fuck you, man!You and your secrets."
"Stop your whining.You sound like a bitch!"Aurei says, laughing.
Steve turns to me."Well?"
"Well, we met in our apartment building.We hit it off, and we're together."Aurei squeezes my thigh, and I know he approves of my concise communication.
He chuckles, not taking his eyes off Steve.
"Shit!There's more to it than that!It can't be that simple."
"I'm not saying another word."I look at Aurei, and our eyes twinkle.
"Wait a minute… you said 'we met in OUR apartment building.'"He frowns at Aurei."You've moved into an apartment?Why would you move out of your house into an apartment?"
Aurei gives him a patient look."Isn't it obvious?I moved in to meet her.And I didn't tell you because I didn't want you interfering with my seduction."
