He nods. “I’m not going without you.”
I gaze at him for a moment, then nod. He smiles then presses a kiss to my nose.
“We should get cleaned up.”
“Can we cuddle?”
“Of course.” We shower and change into our lounge clothes before making some lunch and snuggling on the couch. I suggestDie Hardbecause I know he could use a pick me up after his lunch with Rachel not going so well, and he kisses me, a wide smile on his face.
“Oh, I do have one more thing for you,” I tell him, and jump off the couch. I come back and hand him a small package. He raises an eyebrow at me and takes it. He tears it open and pulls out a small box and then smirks at me. I grin.
“It’s either this or I have to sleep in my own room again.” Not really. I’m not going back to my own room no matter how badly he snores but this little clip is supposed to help if he wears it on his nose and I figured it was worth a shot.
“Fine,” he says, with a sigh, and a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. “I’ll try it. Has it been keeping you up?”
I shrug.
He grabs my hand and pulls me to him. I sit on his lap and he kisses my cheek. “I'm sorry.”
“It’s not your fault,” I tell him.
He breathes me in. “I don’t want to keep you up. You have enough trouble sleeping without my snoring causing problems.”
“Well, that’s what this is for. We’ll see if it works.”
He nods. “I’ll try anything.”
I kiss him and we turn on the movie.

PAUL
“Holy fuck,” I say, walking into Charlie’s room to see him dressed in skin tight black pants, and a black cropped long-sleeved shirt. A black headband with cat ears adorns his head, and attached to the back of his pants is a long black tail with a white tip. Shit, he looks good. That’s the sexiest kitty I’ve ever seen.
“You like it?” he asks, stepping away from the mirror. I smile when I see his face paint. He’s got the kitty nose and whiskers too, and they’re perfect.
“That depends. Are you a sweet, docile kitty or a stubborn, naughty kitty?”
He flushes and grins. “Depends on if I need to get your attention or not.”
My eyes rake over him. “Oh, you have my attention.”
He grins wider and kisses me as I wrap my arms around him. “You excited?” I ask.
He nods. “It’s been years since I was at a Halloween party.”
I smile and have to keep myself from brushing the tip of his nose with mine so that I don’t mess up his face paint. “You’ll be the cutest kitty there. And maybe if you are very good I’ll play with you when we get home.”
He chuckles. “And if I’m not?”
I reach around and slap his ass and he squeaks, but grins at me. “No toe kisses for a week,” I tease. He gasps and I laugh. He pulls back and looks at me.
“What are you going as? You aren’t dressed up.”
I glance down at myself, dressed in my regular jeans and T-shirt. “I'm going as the kitty’s owner who will murder anyone who touches him.”
Charlie smirks at me. “I’ll be fine, Papa Bear. We’ll be with friends, right?”
