Reaching over, Ezra takes my hand as he stares at me. “Aurora was just accosted by her mother and called a whore at the funeral. What in the bloody fucking hell is going on?”

Ezra’s eyes are filled with worry when the guys fall silent for a beat.

“Someone found out about us,” Drake says slowly.

“What do you mean?” I ask.

“Someone took a video of us all in San Juan.”

I gasp as Ezra swears. “Motherfucker. Who?”

“We don’t know yet, but we’re working on it. Drake called the lawyer and everything.” Liam pauses. “Ror, are you okay?”

“I could be better.”

“We’re going to go grab our bags and head to the airport. If one of you could switch our flights, we would appreciate it,” Ezra says.

“Will do. See you soon.”

Ezra places the phone in the cup holder and cups my cheeks.

“I’m so sorry, love. I never meant for this to happen.” He swipes at the tears falling. “Please don’t cry. I can’t take it.”

“It’s okay. I promise. Just get me out of here, please. Take me home.”

Raking my hands through my hair, I pace back and forth. Ezra and Aurora are in the air and on their way back here. Mine, Santi’s, and Liam’s phones keep blowing up. People keep reposting the articles with the video attached. News outlets want a response from us. It’s a complete and utter nightmare.

As much as we’ve prepared for most situations, this is one we never had a backup plan for. We never thought we would fall victim to this. Shit, years ago, we sat down and came up with ground rules to keep us all protected.

Never use someone else’s condoms. Always our own.

Never have sex where someone could see.

Then again, both those rules went out the window with Aurora, and I don’t regret it one bit. I’m sure the guys don’t either.

“Hey.”

Turning, I see Liam walk outside.

I change directions and pull him into my arms. As soon as his arms wrap around me, I instantly relax some. Even amid the chaos, he offers me a level of peace I didn’t know was possible.

“Have you calmed down?” I murmur as I rest my head on his shoulder.

Liam shrugs. “Every time I think I have, my phone rings and I get angry all over again.”

“I told you to shut it off.”

“I turned on the do not disturb mode, so it’s not actually ringing, but I keep checking to see if Ezra or Aurora sent me a message. And before you ask, no, I haven’t read any more comments.”

Earlier I caught him scrolling through all the comments being made. Every time they called Aurora a name, his jaw would clench, but when they would say something about us, he would flinch. With every supportive comment, there was one that followed that was the opposite.

“I get it. It’s fucking hard.” I sigh as I pull away. “But you need to stop checking. I told them that you and Santi were turning them off, so they know to send anything to me where I’m waiting to hear back from the attorney.”

“Has he called back yet?” Liam asks as he rubs his jaw.

I shake my head. “Not since he said he was handing out takedown notices like they were candy on Halloween.”
