“I’ll let you know what I find.” He nods.

Santi and Ezra stand.

“We’ll give you two a minute,” Ezra says as they move toward the door.

“I wonder what Aurora’s making,” Santi says to Ezra behind me.

Their conversation fades as they walk farther away.

Liam moves and leans against the desk in front of me. He grabs my hands. “Are you okay?”

“I will be.” I smile.

He leans down and kisses me. All too soon, he pulls away and rests his forehead on mine. “I’m proud of you.”

“Thank you,” I whisper against his lips.

While it might be hard to end this chapter of my life, I know it’s the right call.

Thirty-Two

The vibe between the party in Sydney and the one here in San Juan is completely different. While mine is more EDM, Santi’s is more salsa and reggaeton. The dancing here is more sensual as well. I weave through the crowd, making sure everything is going well.

I can’t help but laugh loudly when I see Drake trying to dodge Valentina. Santi’s sister isn’t a bad person per se. She just doesn’t know how to read the room. She wants the attention on her and hates when it’s not. Why she hasn’t given up on Drake yet even though she knows we’re together, no one will truly ever know.

For fuck’s sake, she’s seen us. Together.

Then again, we were sharing a woman. That might have given her the wrong idea. Though she never hits on me. Only ever Drake.

I see Valentina catching up and change direction. Walking right up to Drake, I pull him into my arms and start dancing.

“Where have you been?” he murmurs into my ear.

“Here and there, everywhere.” I smirk.

Drake rolls his eyes. “You’re ridiculous.”

“Get a room.” Valentina sneers, bumping into my arm as she passes by.

Drake raises his eyebrows. “Thanks for the save.”

“Anytime. Just know I’ll collect your thanks later.”

Drake hums as his eyes darken. “How do you want me to thank you?”

Leaning forward, I trail my lips from his chin to his ear. “The idea of you on your knees for me is tempting. Just you and me.”

Something catches my eye and I look up at the balcony. Despite the half wall blocking them mostly out of view, I spot Aurora sitting on Santi’s lap and Ezra tipping her head back.

“I think I can make that happen,” Drake rasps.

“Or…” I say as I turn us so Drake can see what I did. “Look up at the balcony. Do you see it?”

Drake grunts as his hands squeeze my hips, pulling me farther into him.

“Do you think they would let us watch?” I ask as I nip his earlobe.

“You know they would.”
