Ezra walks up behind him and slaps the back of his head.

“Ow,” Liam whines, getting the two lovebirds’ attention.

“What happened?” Aurora frowns.

“Nothing,” Liam, Ezra, and I say in unison.

As soon as she turns back to Santi, Ezra whispers. “Don’t jinx us, you moron, and if I ever hear you talking about her as if she’s a piece of ass again, I’ll skin you alive.”

“Touchy, touchy,” Liam mutters as he walks away.

I chuckle, thinking about Ezra. He’s the pot calling the kettle black. We all know he likes to degrade women in the bedroom. We’ve not only heard the rumors, but he admitted as much during a drunken night in school. Something about seeing a girl messed up over him does it for him.

I hope Aurora is okay with it. By the way she was looking at him this morning, I’d say there was no issue.

Shit, thinking about the way Ezra and Santi would tag team her, one degrading while the other praises her, makes my dick twitch.

Calm down, buddy.

“Do you think Rora would like this?” Liam says, bringing my attention back to him.

I see that he’s holding a glass jar of some sort of jam and flip the tag.

Rosella Jam.

“Have you ever had it?”

Liam shakes his head. “I don’t think so.” He turns and waves down an old woman who’s working the stand. “May I ask if this is any good?”

The woman shoots him a dirty look. “I would hope so.”

I cut in before Liam shoves his foot any farther into his mouth. “What he means is, would his girlfriend like it? She’s quite the foody and has never been to Australia before and he wants to show her what all it offers food-wise.”

Saying his girlfriend instead of ours leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but I honestly don’t want to make this woman glare any harder at us. I know I will have to get used to everyone’s judgment of us, but that won’t happen today. Besides, we haven’t even gone public yet. Even with that, the comments on our photos and videos with her have been mixed.

Some think we are cute together, while others condemn us. Until we know for sure she isn’t leaving, it’s best to keep this between us five.

The woman nods and turns toward Liam. “Does she like tart things?”

Liam frowns as he rubs the back of his neck. “I think so. She’s made cherry desserts before, those are tart, right?”

“Then your woman should like this jam. A rosella is a wild hibiscus. Pick up some homemade scones from my daughter over there.” She points to the young woman at the other end of the tent. “She will grab you some and check you out.”

“Thank you,” we say in unison and move down the line.

Once we have the scones and our tab settled, we move on. Liam jumps from stall to stall, buying everything he picks up until his hands are full.

“Did you grab enough?” I chuckle as I take a few bags from his hands.

“I think so. I know Ezra was going to order food in, but I thought it would be nice to grab her some local stuff for her to try.”

“Those are pretty.” I nod toward the flowers in his hand. “What made you choose them?”

He eyes them critically as we walk back to the car. “They remind me of her.”

“How so?”

“They are part classy and part wild, just like her. You have this flower here.” He points to a pink one. “And it looks like something you would find in a wedding bouquet, but everything else looks like you could drive out into a field and pick.”
