As I continue to wait, fuckface smirks. I punch him in the face.
“No answer with him either boss. What do you want me to do?”
Inside, my body is warring with itself. Once part wants to rip this man a part while the other side knows he is my only chance at finding Sofia.
“Take him to the warehouse.” I point to a couple of my men.
“Lo, you need to call anyone close enough to check on the house. Then we are going to go find the girls and Gio.”
He nods his head. I don’t know who the fuck this man is, but he is going to regret messing with the Catalini family.

Chapter Fourteen
Sofia
Bash left a bit ago and I already miss him. I scold myself for admitting it, but he has grown on me. His caresses have become more and more frequent while he has also spent more time with me outside the bedroom. If we were a normal couple, we would be moving more into the steady part of a relationship. Since we aren’t, I am not really sure what it means.
“Hey, Sof. I have a call for you.”
I go to the bedroom door and open it.
“Who is it?”
“Just take it.” He shoves the phone at me.
He is acting weird, which causes my heart to start racing. What does he know that I don’t know.
“Hello.”
“Sofia? Is that you?”
Gina. The slight panic in the voice and the fact that she sounds like she is crying puts me on alert.
“Yep. It’s me. What’s going on Gina?”
“Oh darling. I am so sorry to call you like this, but your Uncle Tony has had an accident. He is in critical condition. Honey, they don’t think he is going to make it through the night. You should really get here.”
I feel tears start to pour down my face. I stayed away because I didn’t want him to get hurt, but he is hurt anyways.
“I can’t, Gina. I can’t leave right now.”
She sighs. “Oh baby. I just don’t want you to regret not getting to say goodbye to him.” I hear her sniffle on the other end.
I bite my lip and look up to Luca.
“What’s wrong, Sof?”
“My uncle is in the hospital He is in critical condition. They don’t think he will make it through the night. I need to go to him.”
“No way. Don Bastiano said to keep you here in the house. I can’t let you leave.”
“I’ll be there Gina.” I say before I hang up the phone. “Luca, I am going with or without you.”
“Sofia, the guards will stop your every step of the way. You won’t make it past the front door, let alone the gate.”
“Luca. My uncle is my last living relative. I want to see him before he dies. I think we can make an exception. Hell, give me a phone and I will call Bash myself.”
