I surprised him when I shot Ryan. He didn’t expect it and neither did Ryan. The joy I felt watching that smile fall off his face was more than I can explain. This man had made my life a living hell for years. I don’t even care if I end up going to jail for it. It was fucking worth it.
I know Bash is worried, but I meant what I said. I killed two people today. Both of them were going to hurt my family and/or me. I couldn’t let that happen. So, I did what I had to do. I don’t think I could kill people as callously as Bash does, but if it is necessary, then I will do it. I would do anything to protect the ones I love.
When we arrive back in the murder room as I have decided to call it, the man Bash called Fox is working some sort of saw. He is cutting off pieces of the body then placing them in a wood chipper. The noise is deafening and I remember that this room must be soundproof. Earlier and now I couldn’t hear what was going on in here.
Gio and Lo walk over to us. Bash hands out his t-shirt and Gio takes it.
“Dispose of it. Give Sofia your shirt and get rid of hers too.”
Lo pulls his shirt over his head and hands it towards me and both men turn around. I hand it to Bash as I pull out my dirty shirt and pull the new one over my head.
“Thanks.”
The men turn back around and Gio takes my shit.
“What happens to him now?” I ask.
“Fox will chop him up into little pieces and put him in several different bags then make his body disappear.”
“You aren’t going to put him in the river?”
I chuckle.
“No way. That is for movies. It is also a good way to get caught. Trust me, Fox is the best at his job. This body won’t ever be found again.”
I smile and lean in to kiss him.
“Always taking care of me.”
“Always.”
He takes my hand. Fox takes a break and starts moving body pieces. I didn’t even see that most of the limbs are already gone. I gag at the sight.
“Don’t look Tesoro. Yo Fox.” The man turns. “Good job. Expect a bonus.”
The man salutes and Bash takes my hand.
“Let’s go home.”

We arrive back at the estate and I can’t even gauge what time it is. The sun is well above us, but I feel like it should be the middle of the night.
“What time is it?” I ask Bash.
“Two in the afternoon. You need to sleep, Tesoro. You look exhausted.”
We walk into the front door and the house is quiet, much different than the last time I came in. The blood covering the floors have now been wiped clean and the house looks immaculate. You would have never known of the horror that occurred last night.
“I need to check on Izzy.”
“You really should sleep. Gio will sit with her.”
I look at Giovanni and he nods.
“Take me to her, Giovanni. I need to check on my friend.”
He looks to Bash then turns and heads up the stairs. We all follow. Once we get to the room, Gio walks right in walking up to Izzy and taking her hand.
