The woman throws up their hand.

There's nothing to do now but confront the unwelcome visitor. I jog over, and Mooky Duke follows. He's cautious but curious.

Summer

My hands grip the top railing of the fence tighter and tighter the closer the man jogs to me. An uneasy feeling begins to descend with each bounce of his muscular frame as déjà vu joins the impending feeling of doom.

My heart rate rises as fast as my blood pressure, and I feel faint. It can't be!

NO, dear lord, please no! I beg you! Please don't let this man be ….

He stops far enough away that I can't be one hundred percent sure. The last time I saw him, his hair was long. But….

Blaze

Are you fucking kidding me right now? No fucking way!

I stand stock still three hundred feet away, trying to absorb the shock of seeing who I think I'm seeing on my property in fucking Montana.

Her hair is lighter than the last time I saw her, and she's wearing it like she did when we hung out in school. Long, straight, and dangling from a sexy ponytail. I dreamed of pulling her head back with it as I pounded her pussy from behind so many times as a horny teenager.

My hands rest on my hips. Now Brandon's "perfect" comment about the spotty cell service out here makes sense, and whyhecalled me and not Jenny herself. He knew I wouldn't ask him for the details, and Jenny would have told me so that I would have had time to make other arrangements for myself or Breezy.

Instead, he sends her straight here. Ensuring we have at least one night to be alone together. Big brother meddling. I hang my head and shake it. He's always wanted Breezy and me to be a couple too.

"Bro, it makes sense. You two are our best friends. You are as perfect for each other as Jenny and I are."

But I'm a year younger, and in high school, that was a lifetime. I wasn't brave enough to even think about actually making a move on Breezy. All I could do was flirt and fantasize about her.

I sigh and start jogging toward her.

But last summer, when I thought I had hit her with a foul ball, it scared the bejeezus out of me, and when I cupped her face and saw that she was alright, my guard was down. So when the crowd chanted, "Kiss her," I did.

Damn, she tasted as sweet as I knew she would, and the fire I tried so hard not to light roared into a white-hot blaze.

I lift my head to face my worse fear. Watching her reaction as I come into focus, wondering how she's going to respond.

Does she already know this is my place?

Or is she going to be as astounded as I am?

When I'm one hundred feet away, it's confirmed. She was as clueless as I was.

Summer

No! No! No! I'm not doing this now. I'm not prepared.

I back away from the fence as Blaze approaches, wearing that million-dollar-drop-your-panties smile.

I whirl around in a panic and march to my luggage. Slinging my backpack on so fast, I stumble with the weight. Then grab my luggage handles and force march my ass up the driveway to the house.

HIS HOUSE!

Blaze

Sprinting to the fence, intending to catch her to confront her, I place my hands on the top rail and spring over. Four strides toward her, though, I hear Mooky Duke's panicked whinny.

I stop immediately. I can't leave him alone. He's just a baby.
