KELLION.I wished I could growl his name out loud, just so he’d know how I felt about...this.I took out my pen and board, scribbling furiously. God, this board was too small. I needed to make my handwriting smaller, needed to make sure he knew—-

Kellion snatched the pen and board from my hands. I looked up, and a shadow fell over my face, Kellion eclipsing the world as he took my lips in a kiss that brimmed with possessiveness. The way he fisted my hair, the way he chained me to him with an arm around my waist, the way he didn’t stop kissing me until I could no longer breathe—-

He pulled away, his eyes the brightest shade of green. “They had to know sooner or later, baby.”

I was still panting. I didn’t want to, but he really did leave me breathless and dazed, unable to understand what he meant.Who were they and what did they have to know?

He pulled me to him again and I stiffened, wondering if I was about to be ravished—-

Oh.

A tender, soft brush of his lips against my forehead.

And then he was turning to face the crowd. “In case you still don’t believe your eyes—-”

Oh no. I have a bad feeling about this.I tried to get away, but Kellion spun me back to his side, and this time his hold was inflexible.

Beside me, Kellion’s hard body was rocking with laughter.

Damn, damn, damn. He was going to do something I didn’t want him to do. I was sure of it.

“—-I’m officially off the market because of this girl.”

Noooooooooooooo!A few feet away, someone in the crowd howled, her despair echoing mine.

I tried to get away again. I wanted to pretend this hadn’t happened. I only said I wanted to make him smile, dammit. I didn’t say I was okay with this totally embarrassingly public declaration of us being an item—-

Kellion yanked me back to his side. “Baby, aren’t you happy?” His eyes laughed at me.

I opened my mouth to answer him, to really answer him out loud, but instead I found myself being kissed. By the guy who had just proudly announced to the world he was dating me,exclusively. The thought, coming out from nowhere, electrified me from head to toe.

Tingle, tingle, tingle, TINGLE.

When he released me, my whole body was still tingling. I touched my lips. They felt swollen and sensitive, burning under the remembered feel of Kellion’s kiss. It almost felt like they wanted to be covered by Kellion’s mouth again.

Yuck.I automatically wiped my lips with the back of my hand, hoping it could erase the lingering effect of Kellion’s kiss. But it was no use. His kiss had left an indelible mark, and I was scared that even in sleep I’d dream of its taste.

Yuck.I wiped my mouth more stringently, making Kellion chuckle.

“I’ll walk you to your dorm.”

I shook my head, scribbling on my board.YOU DON’T HAVE TO.

“If it were anyone else, I’d think you’re playing coy.”

I’M NOT.I underlined it thrice just so it was clear. Unfortunately, it only made him kiss me.

When he released me, I wiped my mouth again, for consistency’s sake.

“Do that again and I’ll kiss you longer each time.”

JERK.

He didn’t smile, but it felt like he did, with the way his eyes gleamed. Taking my hand, he started to walk, forcing me to fall alongside him. The number of students seemed to have grown, but none of them was able to get near us.

I squeezed his hand and when Kellion glanced at me, I gestured towards the men in black around us.Who are they?

“My bodyguards,” Kellion answered simply, as if it was a normal thing for a college guy to have two dozen uniformed men trailing after him. As he pulled out his phone from his pocket, he added in a distracted tone, “They’ve been there since day one. They were just incognito.”
