Sitting outside of the home that Dallas shared with Big Boy, the guilt of falling in love with someone who should be behind bars toyed with her emotions. How was she gonna face Big Boy? The entire way home, Dallas thought of many lies; she just didn't know which one would she use. She had no phone to call him or Norah for that matter. Even so, she wasn't gonna call Norah at this moment because she would have to explain her whereabouts.
She was still trying to find the perfect lie, and the only thing she could think of was Mexico. She had come up with a fabricated story about collecting her earnings in Mexico and being apprehended by the border patrol. This way, if anyone searched her in the LASD system, she wouldn't populate. She prayed the lie worked for Big Boy because he was very jealous.
Climbing out of the car, Dallas slowly headed inside. She was excited, yet nervous, but again, the guilt of how good Kasim's love felt weighed heavy on her. When she stuck her key into the door, her heart began skipping beats. She pushed the door open, and the smell of steak lingered in the air. Big Boy wasn't a cooker, so she figured one of his boys may have cooked.
After closing the door and locking it, Dallas headed into the house in search of her man. She began checking every room, but something told her he wasn't home because it was far too quiet. Whenever Big Boy was home, he'd have the music blasting, weed smoke filled the air, and he'd be on his PlayStation 5 console. Although she was a bit sad, she was excited that she could freshen up and actually cook a good meal.
She headed into the kitchen first. She noticed a ton of dishes in the sink, and with the pan that had mac n cheese stuck inside, this told her a full course meal was prepared.
Dallas decided to just head into her room because the dishes would take up too much of her time. She began rummaging through her clothing and realized she didn't have any clean laundry. Deciding to just grab one of Big Boy's oversized t-shirts, she walked over to his side of the bed and opened his night stand.
When she pulled out the first shirt that set neatly folded on top, something flew out, crashing into the ground. Dallas dropped the shirt onto the bed and went searching for whatever it was. It had slid under the bed, so she bent down to retrieve it.
The fuck is this?
Dallas thought, staring at the two pink lines on the pregnancy test. She was confused as to why was it in her bedroom. She hadn't taken any test, and it seemed to be damn sure hidden.
I know damn well . . .
Dallas set the test onto the dresser so when Big Boy came, he could explain himself. The shit had her upset. Literally sick to her stomach. She had run into a few encounters of him cheating, but as stated, she never had proof. There were only rumors and a few DMs from chicks that couldn't show receipts.
Dallas wanted to call him so badly but remembered she didn't have a phone. These days people didn't have house phones, so there was no way of contacting him. She headed intothe restroom to begin her bath. She ran the water and poured her Obsession Calgon to create bubbles. Dallas climbed in before the water filled up so she could just relax.
She was torn between thoughts of Kasim and Big Boy possibly having a baby. As bad as she wanted to cry, she wanted to talk to him first. She was trying hard not to jump to conclusions, but her gut told her the nigga was living foul. This also made her think of the steak that lingered in the house, and in that same thought, her eyes zoomed into a pink rat tail comb that set on the counter. All of her combs were black, so it definitely didn't belong to her.
At this point, all Dallas could do was shake her head in disbelief. She knew the possibilities of the rumors being true but to have a bitch in her crib was next level. It had only been seven days since she’d gone missing and already the nigga was moving on. She couldn't imagine what did he think because this wasn't like Big Boy. He didn't bring his bullshit home, and he damn sure wouldn't be this bold.
The shit was just fucked up on all levels, so it sent her into a silent rage. So many things had begun to populate in her mind, and stabbing him was one. Right now she wasn't seeing straight, so thoughts of hurting him gave her a clear view.
After two hours of soaking in her tub and in her tears, Dallas hadn't realized she had been in the same spot for so long. She was more in thought of Kasim than Big Boy’s infidelity. She felt weird being back home. She had become accustomed to the dim lighting, dinner nights in the fancy gowns, and even the women that came into the room to antagonize her by Kasim’s sex.
She and Kasim hadn't spoken much, but there were so many things she wanted to learn about him outside of theDynasty. Like, where was his mother for instance? Did he ever leave that dumb ass cave looking room? It seemed as if he had no life outside of the Dynasty, and this was awkward to Dallas.
She was one of those live your life types of chicks. She didn't go too hard like Norah but she lived a little. Her favorite was ATV riding on the beach. Outside of that, she liked to bend over and watch the waves crash into the ocean while Big Boy slang dick inside of her. She'd take her a few shots and get loose. It didn't take much liquor to bring out the freak in Dallas. Local oceans withbaefelt like a vacation. When she was with Norah, they'd go out to eat, turn up in a few clubs, and even bar hopped.
After soaping up, Dallas began to clean the tub with a bottle of Lysol, then headed into her room to dress. She wanted to call Norah so bad but had no phone. A part of her wanted to just drive over and tell her the discovery in her home. A pregnancy test, a full cooked meal, and she got dicked down outside of her relationship.
Norah hated Big Boy. She hated the ground he walked and spit on. She wasn't like most chicks that would blemish the feelings for her best friend's love life. She spoke her mind and even told Dallas the things that surfaced in the hood. If this was what Dallas loved, Norah wasn't a hater. She just didn't want her friend looking dumb, but the dumber she acted, she became.
If Dallas told Norah about the time spent with Kasim, she would probably be ready to grab her pistol and shoot everyone in the Dynasty. Especially the part about Dallas watching him fuck women. Norah didn't play about Dallas, and it was vice versa. Even if Dallas had to fight a bitch, she would go bat shit for her bestie. It was the two of them, and the moment she told her about Big Boy would be the end of his life.
She was gonna leave out the part about Kasim, but she knew eventually she'd have to come clean. One thing Dallas andNorah didn't do was keep secrets from one another. Their bond was like a sistership that connected their souls.

KASIM
“I'm more than just an option (hey, hey, hey)
Refuse to be forgotten (hey, hey, hey)
I took a chance with my heart (hey, hey, hey)
And I feel it taking over . . .”
In the dimly lit dungeon, Kasim paced back and forth while Drake's "Find Your Love" played in his background. His heart was torn between missing the woman who touched his soul and hating her for abandoning him. He growled, and the sound echoed off the walls as he clenched his fists. Memories of her angelic face haunted him, but they were overshadowed by the pain she had inflicted.
