“What else am I good at, sunshine?” I ask her with my lips pressed against her earlobe.

Her skin is coated with goosebumps, a clear response to my actions. I understand her body intimately, perhaps even better than she does. The scent surrounding her reveals her desire, hinting at her craving for passion. Yet, the heating pad she clutches against her stomach suggests a different story. I place my hands over her lower stomach, and she immediately lets out a sigh of relief as her cramps vanish.

“You’re good with your words… and…” I pause her favorite movie, Evil Dead, and pull her closer to my chest.

“Mmhmm. Keep going,” I say as I put my hand under her shirt and squeeze her perfect tits.

Fuck,I love her tits. They fit perfectly in my hands.

I pinch her rosy nipple softly.

“And your cock… your perfect, pretty cock. I love it when you fuck me with your tongue and fingers, but what you got going down here,” she reaches her hand back and grabs my hard length, “this is my favorite.”

I rumble deeply in her ear, “Careful, sunshine, or I might just have to devour you again.”

Our fun is interrupted as Adonis comes barging in. I smile at him, never removing my hand from under Dani’s shirt. Adonis’ eyes darken, and a grin appears on his face.

“Have you come to join us?” I ask him as I lick Dani’s neck, never taking my eyes off him.

“Tempting, for sure. But, check this out.” Adonis walks over to the bed with the grimoire and sits down. Dani crawls out of my lap and sits closer to Adonis.

I adjust my dick in my shorts.

Adonis flips open the grimoire to its midpoint and gestures toward the binding. There, evidence of tampering is evident—a page has been conspicuously ripped out.

Dani gasps. “We have gone through this book repeatedly, and I’ve never seen a torn-out page before!”

“That’s precisely what I was thinking,” Adonis states, a glint of determination in his eyes. “But there’s more to it than that.” With deliberate care, he reaches into his pocket, pulling out the ancient spell, its edges frayed with age. He places it gently into the book, watching as the ragged corners seamlessly match the jagged tear in the page. It left no room for doubt: this was the very page that had been ripped away.

“That’s the spell you found, Dani?” I ask, already knowing the answer to the question.

“Yeah… that’s the one. Why would we see this now? That doesn’t make any sense. I mean, it makes sense that Octavia ripped this page out, given that it’s the correct spell for the necklace, but we would have seen a page missing from this book sooner.” Dani’s brows furrow as she holds the missing page.

“Octavia loved playing mind tricks. I mean, you were reading the wrong spell for a while until you found the real one. I bet she had some concealing enchantment over the grimoire so no one would ever see the missing page,” I say casually. Adonis and Dani look at me curiously. “Maybe, since the missing page was found, the book can now reveal itself,” I shrug my shoulders.

Sounds logical to me.

“Or maybe the spell has died over time,” Dani suggests. Adonis and I smile at her. “Unfortunately, I don’t think so, love. Octavia was powerful. Magic doesn’t just fade over time. If anything, it gets stronger. I think Killian may be right. Perhaps when you found the missing page, you broke whatever spell was cast over the grimoire.”

“Oooh, are we triple-stuffing our girl tonight?” Dax walks in shirtless and sweaty. My mouth salivates, looking at his sculpted muscles. A rush of anticipation washes over me. Each curve and contour of Dax's physique is irresistible.

Dani looks up at Dax and forgets how to speak. She chews on her bottom lip, and my cock twitches.

Dax walks over and lifts her chin, kissing her passionately while Adonis and I watch.

He pulls away.

“Not tonight, love.” I can see Dani’s immediate disappointment with Adonis’ words. “Here, look,” Adonis says to Dax while pointing at the old book. He explains everything we just discussed to Dax, so he’s in the loop.

“I mean, that isn’t surprising that the missing page is a spell from the grimoire… Big whoop,” Dax scoffs, rolling his eyes in disdain. “You now see the torn page from the dusty ol’ book and pieced together it’s the spell needed for your necklace. Dani isn’t reading that fucking spell, so I don’t know why we are still fixated over this.” Dax’s words are sharp but true.

“Don’t be such a dick, Dax,” Dani says. Dax’s muscle in his jaw tightens with her words, but she presses on, undeterred by his simmering frustration. “We have been reading this ‘dusty ol’ book’ for weeks now!” she exclaims. “And we just found out a page had been ripped out. No shit, it’s the spell I found. It’s the fact that all of a sudden, we can see the ripped seams. That’s all. And don’t you dare try to dictate what I’m doing or not doing! We aren’t fucking right now, so you don’t control me,” she spits back.

I let out a whistle through pursed lips, “Damn, I love it when our mate gets spicy.” I lean forward and slide my hands underneath her, squeezing her ass hard and plant a soft kiss on her neck.

Dax loosens his clenched fists and cocks his head to the side. “Adonis, enough with the fucking obsession. Don’t you see that you are encouraging her?” Flames flicker to life on Dax’s hands, dancing with an intensity that mirrors the fierce glow of molten lava, while his amber eyes radiate a burning heat, swirling like the depths of an erupting volcano.

Adonis, pissed off now, stands up. He’s just a little taller than Dax, but he outweighs us both with his strength. “You gonna blast me with those little flames, Dax? It was just a fucking observation. Don’t be such a prick.” He gets in Dax’s face.
