“Let me go!” she screamed, and he pinned her to the door and put her wrists over her head. He tugged her hips close to his and slammed a heated kiss to her lips.
Holy. Heck.
“And that’s Winter. She’s got a heart of ice. Cyran’s having fun with it, though,” Anaki said. “Vamps enjoy a chase. They are perfect for each other. More lemon drops?”
Journey giggled and shook her head. “Nope, I’m done. I’d like to be awake when Grim puts me to bed tonight.” She winked.
Delilah didn’t turn to me. She was still watching the show that Cyran and Winter were putting on. “So uh, Nadia. What’s up with Bear’s ears? They were damn adorable. Do you tug on them when you guys are doing the nasty? Do they pop out on command, or do they come out on their own?”
Journey leaned over, her long chestnut hair swinging in the breeze made by the people walking by. “Oh yes, I want to know this. Do you think our mate’s tails can pop out like that? I think it would be hilarious if their tails could pop out and start wagging, don’t you, Dede?”
Delilah threw her head back and laughed. “Oh, that would be fun! Imagine seeing them wag when we tell them what good boys they are?Come here, boy! Come here! That’s it. What a good boy you are!” She made whistling noises. Several wolves’ heads perk up and look at Delilah. They tilted their head in confusion.
I spat out my drink, laughing, watching the wolf shifters tilting their heads back and forth.
Journey slapped Delilah and pointed to the back of the bar. “Hey here comes Hawke and Grim. Let’s do it to them.”
The crowd was mingling while the music played, and the group came up from the basement. They locked the door and looked around the bar until our men set their eyes on us.
“You aren’t seriously going to do it, are you?” I half joked.
Nope, they really were going to do it. They got off the stools and waved, whistling. Delilah wasn’t even drinking and was acting crazy.
“Come here!” Delilah whistled and clapped her hands. “Who is my good boy!?”
Hawke’s head jerked back in surprise and pointed to himself.
“That’s right, you are my good boy! Do you want a treat? I’ll give you a treat!” Delilah said sweetly.
That was all it took for Hawke to push people out of the way and beelined for Delilah.
“I’ve got some treats too! Because you are my extra special fluffy good boy!” Journey cooed to Grim. The crowd parted for Grim. No one touched him, and both of the guys picked up their ladies and planted big kisses on them.
Both of my friends turned them around and patted their butts. “No tails.” Delilah pouted. Journey shook her head. “Can’t you push out your tails or something? You know, like Bear puts out his ears for Nadia?”
“The fuck? No, we can’t put our tails out. I’d break my tail trying to push it through my jeans. Can’t you be happy with my tight ass?” Hawke smirked and rubbed Delilah’s stomach.
Grim leaned into Journey, whispering in her ear. “Is there not really a treat?”
I snorted, trying not to laugh when I felt the large body of my mate behind me.
“What is this all about?” he gruffed and placed a kiss on my cheek.
“They are jealous I get your nom nom ears.” I reached up, trying to grab the top of his head but obviously failing.
“Little bee, don’t call them that in public. It’s embarrassing.”
Bear groaned and set me on his lap, taking my seat at the bar. “Besides, too many humans. I’m not taking them out right now. I’ll bring them out in private when you’re riding my cock,” he whispered in my ear before taking my mouth with his. “How are you feeling?” He wiped his thumb over my cheek.
Everyone continued to ask me how I felt, and I gave them the same answer. They knew I lied, and they let me do it. With Bear, he wouldn’t let me get away with it. I just gazed up at him and fought back the tears.
Tired. Exhausted.
He nodded and pulled me closer.
“Tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last session. Tajah and Bram are sure of it.”
I buried my head in his chest and took in his woodsy scent.
