Chapter 1

SKYE

Iblinkedthetearsof excitement from my eyes and my heart hammered against my ribcage as we drove along the beach-side road. To the left of the road was a grassy slope that gradually became a beach with the purest sand I had ever seen.

“I can’t wait to swim in the ocean,” I said, my tone dreamy. “I’ve always wanted to.”

“You can do it every day if you want to from now on,” Severen said. He kissed my temple.

“We’re just about there,” Crux said from the driver’s seat.

To the right were the houses with a magnificent view of the unobstructed parts of Port Haven’s Ceto Bay. A twenty minute walk from would take us to the pier. We rounded a bend in the street and there it was, perched elevated on stilts, with an L-shaped staircase leading to a massive porch. Our new beach-side home. I could barely catch my breath.

Crux parked the Jeep in the driveway and I hopped out of the car, my bare feet touching sun-warmed concrete. Eagerly I raced up the steps to the door and grabbed the knob.

“Skye, you forgot something?” Severen called after me.

I peeked over the balcony railing to see him standing on the drive, dangling the house keys pinched in his hand. Behind him, Crux was unloading a box from the back of his dark blue Jeep Wrangler. I gave Severen a come hither finger and he climbed the steps. He handed me the keys and I unlocked the… our… house.

Before I could step inside Severen lifted me off my feet and held me bridal style.

“I’d hate myself if I missed this opportunity to carry you over the threshold.”

I smiled and kissed him, running my fingers through his soft brown hair. Severen could be such a romantic.

He stepped into the house with me still in his strong arms. The front door entered into a slightly lowered little foyer, perfect for containing sand and other beachy mess. Then to the immediate left was the open concept kitchen with an island and marble top counters. It lead into the dining area and door to the back porch. To the right was the living room. I could already picture our big television mounted over the electric fireplace, and our spacious sectional, coffee table, and chairs, like our furniture was made for the room.

Severen carried me up the staircase to the second floor and brought me into the biggest empty room.

“This will be the perfect office for your writing,” I said.

“Absolutely not,” Severen said. “This will be where we make your nest.”

I kissed him again as he lowered me to my feet. I felt the rumble in his chest and both of our scents spiked. His dark, strong coffee and rich wine scent, and my blueberry, blue bells and cornflower scent mingled together as our kiss deepened and his hands roamed over my slender body.

“I’d really appreciate some help unloading the Jeep,” Crux said as he walked into the room with a big box labeledNestin his arms. “If I have to be the responsible one, we’re all fucked.”

I broke the kiss and left the warmth and strength of my pack lead’s embrace. I walked over and ruffled Crux’s hair.

“Don’t you want to try out my new nesting room? Make sure it’s big enough?”

“The moving truck will be here in about an hour,” Crux said.

“Then, we have fifty-five minutes,” I teased. I turned toward Severen again. “Do you recognize the dress?” I did a small twirl on the ball of my foot and the skirt fanned outward, exposing my thighs. For sentimental reasons, it was my favourite dress. White, with bunches of calligraphic blue flowers printed on it in a pattern that was reminiscent of a bone china tea set, it held a very special place in my heart.

The only response I got from Severen was a growl of arousal. “It’s the dress I was wearing when you first bit me,” I said, then I reached for Crux. “And you, I chose a sun dress for easy access.”

I slid one thin ribbon strap off my shoulder, then the other, and let the dress fall and unveil my naked breasts. Crux’s eyes went from brown to black in an instant. His breathing shifted and his grave-earth and whiskey barrel scent burned through the sea-salt smell of the beach air.

“Gentle,” I reminded him, as the dress rolled past my hips and dropped to the hardwood floor. I lowered down and bundled the dress, resting my knees on it. Crux undid his jeans and behind me I heard Severen do the same. I took Crux in my hand, and sucked on the tip, maintaining eye contact with him. “So gentle,”I whispered, my other hand caressing his sack as my tongue circled the head of his dick.

When aroused, Crux sometimes had a bad habit of being difficult to control, or knowing his own strength. It had been a real concern when we first met, and he and I both had to take medicine to control ourselves while we waited for the wedding night. He had become much more disciplined in the year and a half since we had been bonded and the Heller pack had bonded me, and I had become much more perverted. I ran my mouth along the length of him, lips wet and pursed, then drew the flat of my tongue along him.

“Severen is going to take my pussy,” I told Crux. “And you get my warm, wet mouth,” I bit my lower lip and grinned. “And my soft, slippery hands.”

Electric-eyed, Crux nodded.

Severen lowered himself to his knees and grabbed my hips. He pushed my ass up but I reached between my legs to collect my slick to make my hands nice and slippery for Crux. I put him in my mouth and took him about half his length. Whatever I couldn’t take with my mouth and tongue, I tended to with my hands. My wedding ring swinging on the chain around my neck caught the sunbeams that streamed through the open window, and glinted off the mixed metals, the slick, and the saliva dripping off my chin.
