He groaned as he rutted into me, his cock and knot not deflating in the slightest. The additional burst of energy I’d gotten from giving into my nature had been transferred to him already, and I was reminded of the fact that one time being knotted couldn’t replace five years of avoidance and increasing weakness.

“I shouldn’t take any more from you,” Cas murmured. “But I’m not quite sane. I need one more. If I don’t feed myself enough, we’ll have to repeat this all over again. You won’t have recovered by the time I need it. Maybe we can get Nolan to move me back to their room? Between the two of them, they can feed me the rest and if I’m restrained in the halls… it should be fine.”

He was sane enough to be rambling again, which was a good sign, but his eyes were still black. I tested the strength of my limbs and found I could hardly lift my arms. Giving him more wasn’t a good idea.

It appeared I wasn’t the only one who thought that, because Nolan burst into the room a second after I had the thought, looking concerned and a little upset.

ChapterTwelve

NOLAN

Watching the cameras was a creepy thing to do. To be fair, I’d told her I was going to do it. Freya may have thought I was joking, though. Or exaggerating. While I didn’t have my cock out at this exact moment, I would use this scene for jerk off fuel later. I could picture every contortion of their bodies, every movement either of them made, the grainy picture of beauty and primal desire.

A bit too much primal desire, I realized as Freya struggled to move.

Why was she feeding the incubus so much? He didn’t need it. He was only half, so he shouldn’t have the energy needs of a full-blooded one. The incubi who lived in Zemterra, and the full-blooded ones on Earth, sometimes needed multiple partners in a day to sate them. Or one, drained dry. His fae blood should eliminate half that need, and he had two partners who should have been keeping him well-fed.

Shutting off the cameras, I went downstairs in a rush.

People noticed how fast I was moving, my vampiric speed making clothing sway in the breeze I created. Some of my subordinates gave me curious looks, but none asked questions. None until the guard stationed in front of the door to the room Freya was in, anyway. His cheeks were flushed and he caught me before I entered, lowering his voice. “They’re having a… private moment.”

“I’m aware. You’re dismissed, for now.”

The other equally embarrassed guard looked to me. I nodded at him, and he left. Something about them having heard the happenings irritated me a bit, though I knew it shouldn’t. Freya had known they were there, and had known about the cameras, and had still done this. She clearly had no shame.

Stepping into the room, I stared past the bars at both of them. Freya was surprised to see me, but Caspian was relieved. And still hungry, if the black in his eyes was any indication.

“Why are you still feeding him?” I asked, stepping right up to the bars and holding them.

“He needs it,” she said.

“Why does he need it? He’s only half incubus, and he’s drained you nearly dry.”

Caspian was hiding behind Freya’s form, their bodies still connected as she took his knot. He seemed scared or sheepish, but he was the one who was dangerous in this situation. If he took more from her, she may pass out. “He needs it,” Freya said again, more firmly.

Her hips moved, grinding herself down, and my gaze was drawn to where they connected. I grit my teeth against the desperate need that ran through me, trying to ignore how it was laced with a hint of shame. Not for watching. The shame was because I knew I’d never be able to give her that, no matter how desperately I may come to want to.

“You’re not permitted to give him any more energy.”

“Get Shan or Em, then. Because someone needs to feed him at least once more.”

It had to be a trap. Was she playing on my weakness? She had to have seen how I looked at her, and how I was soft-hearted. My father had always said it was going to be the death of me one day, and I didn’t want today to be that day. I’d had my forgiving and trusting personality traits turned against me too many times to count.

“This trick won’t work,” I claimed, projecting more confidence than I felt. What if this truly was necessary, and my denial of the request caused her to give more than she could handle? “You’ll have to come up with a better way to concoct and execute your escape plan.”

She growled. The sound was more Alpha than Omega, and her gaze was murderous. I still couldn’t tell. Was she furious because I’d ruined her plans, or because Cas needed more?

Before I’d consciously decided to do so, I was stepping up to the door in the bars and shoving my key in the lock. Freya’s eyes widened as I stepped through and locked it behind me. There was a faint drain from the runes, but they weren’t built for vampires so it was nothing significant. “He can feed from me. You won’t be giving any more energy to him today.”

“No. You’re not going tofeedhim. Only we feed him.”

“Extenuating circumstances. If he needs it, he’ll take it from me. If he doesn’t need it, it’ll prove my suspicion that this is a ploy to get three of you in this cage together.”

I didn’t think he needed it. At all. But for some reason my heart rate was rising as I looked at both of them naked on the bed. From this angle, I had a better view of Caspian’s face, and he was staring at the growing bulge in my pants. His cheeks were flushed, the longer bits of his hair mussed and damp with sweat. While he looked at me, his hips were grinding against Freya.

His scent was intoxicating, too. And hers. I’d always hated the reaction I had to a strong Alpha scent. I wanted to drop to my knees and beg for attention if the Alpha was a compatible enough scent for me, and his scent was very much compatible. Freya’s scent made me want to lick my way from head to toe, stopping at every erogenous zone on the way down.

I regretted putting myself in this situation, because my scent would do nothing for either of them. I’d put myself in a disadvantaged position.
