And I mostdefinitelyshouldn't be replaying it in my head as I lay in bed, telling myself over and over again not to touch myself.

I don't know how long it’s been since I sprinted back to the room after Hunter locked eyes with me while he thrusted inside of Marcus. A moment I will never forget.

Even if I never admitted it out loud, that was one of the hottest things I have ever witnessed. I knew there was something going on with Hunter and Marcus, but Kameron was a part of it too? It's only now I realize I haven’t actually seen them all in a room together. That will be… interesting.

A soft knock comes from the door and I jolt up, pulling my knees to my chest. The door eases open revealing Hunter.

"Oh, you're awake, I thought you had fallen asleep." He eyes me, but I can't meet his gaze. Especially when the scene is playing on repeat in my mind. His hooded eyes, the way he bit down on his lower lip. He raises his hand, rubbing the back of his neck, stepping closer. "About earlier…."

I close my eyes and shoot my hands up, "We don't need to talk about it, really. It's fine." I rush the words out like word vomit.

"I don't mind or is it thatyoumind?" He raises a brow to me. "I have no shame in what Marcus and I have."

"I wouldn't want to pry. It's your guys’ stuff, not mine."

"It's not prying if I'm offering, Elliott." He steps up to the bed, holding his hand out, "May I sit?"

I nod and he sits, the mattress shifting with his weight. My body sways from the motion.

"I’ll tell you my part in this. The others can tell you their side, if they want to. Sound fair?" I nod and he continues, "Kam, Marcus and I all grew up together. We got closer when Kam and Marcus went through some…things, that resulted in my mother bringing them all into her care. They are my best friends, my family, and the loves of my life. I couldn't imagine a life where they aren't a part of it.”

I pinch my brows together, "So you are all together? Like in a relationship?"

"We were." He sighs.

My heart sinks as I take it all in. My eyes widened as I thought about how Kam and I had fallen for each other in that bar. Howhe came to my rescue. He said he wasn't faking his attraction or how he felt towards me. Was I the reason they all split? Did I ruin their relationship?

"Not because of you." Hunter adds as if he read my thoughts, "It happened before we even found out where Everton was, or when Kam met you."

I let out a breath of relief knowing I was not the reason for them not being in a…whatever it was, going on in their relationship.

"It's been…complicated since we took a break from our relationship. The biggest rift is between Kam and Marcus, but that is not my story to tell." I keep my eyes on him, "Kam really likes you." He says, squeezing my hand.

"I really like him too."

He gives me a small smile but his eyes look hurt for some reason, "I know."

Does he not approve?

"Am I ruining something with all of this?"

"Why would you say that?"

"I wouldn't want to be the reason all of you are fighting."

"We’ve been fighting all of our lives. You didn't cause this. Most of it is shit Marcus and Kam need to work out between themselves."

His gaze drops, leaning in as he grabs a fallen strand of hair, rubbing it between his fingers before pushing it behind my ear. His hand lingers on my jawline and I lean into it. His eyes moveback up to mine and flicker between them. His fingertips are warm on my cheek and I can't help the way it comforts me, or the way my eyes flutter from the touch. A fire sparks in his eyes. The heat it ignites in my chest makes me pause, pulling away from his gesture. He sees me retreat and that same hurt expression returns to his face, and I can't help but wonder why.

"I'm going to start cooking dinner." He stands abruptly.

I don't want him to go, "Can I help?"

"You want to help me cook?" He arches a brow at me with a smirk on his face.

"Yes. Why?"

"Well, you have been in this room nonstop for the past—how many days? Don't be so taken aback by my shock." I tease him with a scrunched face, "Oh, so we give a little attitude now?"
