"Business gon' on down here." I told her truthfully and she simply nodded, making her way up the staircase.

As she did, I walked back into the dining room and helped them get the shit off of the table. It didn't take me long though. Once we were done, I made my way upstairs with T.

"What's up, ma?" I spoke, making her look over to me as I walked in the room. She was standing in the mirror, fixing her hair.

"Whatchu tryn' fix? You already look good as hell." I couldn't help but to compliment and she laughed softly.

"Is this you flirting?" She asked, raising her eyebrows and I looked down with a smirk.

"I can't flirt witcha?"

"No. Not mister I want to take it slow." She taunted and I smacked my lips.

"Man.." I trailed off.

T and I were still taking things slow. We weren't together but of course I was still in love with her. I just had to build up that friendship and that trust again. I couldn't just be on the relationship level with her right away, sex or not. Though I knew she really wanted to be with me.

I just knew jumping back into some shit wouldn't be the best decision to make. I wanted our shit to come back stronger than ever and that started with just letting things come natural. We ain't have to rush.

"How was your day?" I went onto ask, changing the subject and she sighed, plopping down onto the edge of the bed.

"Well I went to go look at apartments today." She poked her lips out.

"Whatchu upset for? You ain't find what you like?" I asked her as she looked at me and shook her head no.

"Everything is either too ugly or too expensive." She whined and I couldn't help but laugh.

"You gon' find something. Don't even worry about it." I assured her, she nodded slowly.

"Hopefully because I'm really ready to move out. I just want my own house. My own space."

"Na', I feel you." I told her, my mind drifting off to me getting my own spot too. Sharing a spot with Deja was becoming too tedious for me.

"So what have you been up to today?" She asked and I shrugged.

"Handlin' business."

"Handling business." She mocked, making smile as she stood up. I couldn't take my eyes off of her ass in that dress. She just looked so good today.

Too damn good.

"Yo, where the fuck is your clothes, T?" I leaned over and smacked her ass as hard as I could.

"Ouch." She whined, rubbing over the spot that I'd just smacked.

"First of all, don't touch me there, that's inappropriate." She said to me and I smacked my lips, leaning over and doing it again twice as hard this time.

"Ouch, Dominic!" She fell to the floor, holding her butt. I laughed at her as she looked up at me with a scowl on her face.

"Next time put some real fuckin' clothes on when you comin' out of the house."

"I wear what I want, crazy man." She spat back to me and a smirk crept onto my face.

"Well obviously.." I trailed off.

"Because if you was wearin' what the fuck I wanted you to wear you'd be naked." I told her and she slowly stood to her feet from the floor.

"Oh really?" She asked as I looked down, smirking.
