Aria’s eyes lit up as she stroked the hairs again, watching as the simple act brought such an intense, excruciating reaction. Lucas groaned and peeled his lips back from clenched teeth as he struggled to hold on.
She grinned as she leaned into him, her other hand lowering to verify that yes, indeed, there was a direct link between the hairs and her goal...
“Ahhh, Aria, I can’t—”
His admission seemed to ignite something within her. In one fluid movement, she climbed onto him. She poised her hips so that she just touched him. He was so rigid he ached. Her heat, so close—he was desperate to have it wrapped around his throbbing, pulsing shaft.
It drove him wild. Lucas’s hands closed on her hips, wanting, needing—
She pushed down onto him. Taking all of him in one thrust, her heat enveloping him like a slick velvet glove.
Aria, Aria, Aria.He chanted her name through the link as she began to rise and fall, riding him with relentless rhythm that he matched by rising beneath her. He throbbed within her as her walls tightened around him, his hands weaving into her hair as she nibbled along his throat.
And then she sank her teeth in deep.
He cried out, as much with surprise as pain—a wave of ecstasy burst through him. Aria clenched around him, and their world exploded as they both shattered, together.
Like waves crashing on a beach, rippling through them... Lucas gasped and shuddered. Aria held on until the pulses subsided, then she pulled her teeth free and licked the wounds. Lucas groaned and collapsed on the couch, pulling her down with him.
He ran his fingers along her jaw. “Are there a bunch of men out there with strange scars on their neck, or am I special?”
She growled at him. “Oh, you’re special, all right. I only bite the ones I like.”
She bit me, too,Nikolai complained into the link.No warning, just sank her teeth into me.
It’s a Dragon thing,Aria said, indignant.
Lucas froze.Wait—does this mean I’m going to change into a Dragon? For real, like?
Aria stiffened in his arms.Nikolai said he wouldn’t.
I’m immune, according to Cara. But Lucas might not be.
Lucas rubbed his face.Okay, this is something that should have been on the “discuss before sex” agenda.
Aria ran her fingers down his nose.I think you’ll make a damned handsome Dragon.
Not the point, beautiful.Lucas sighed.Just promise me you won’t bite any more people.
Nikolai’s agreement rippled through them.
Aria laughed.A sexy thief, and a demigod Unicorn, is more than enough trouble for any one soul bond.

EPILOGUE
Nikolai stroked Mai as he looked down at the illegal mine. She didn’t much like the humidity in the Araribóia reserve, deep in the Brazilian Amazon, but the scritches made up for it.
He gazed down into the giant hole in the ground. A mine that shouldn’t be there, illegally extracting gold, as well as timber, from the protected rainforest.
Think we’re ready down here.Aria supervised the Bellatis inspecting the mine, ensuring that all the workers had cleared out. Nikolai saw her emerge from the pit, trailing a line of the distinctive Bellatis. In their center paraded a morose group of rough-looking men.
