“That was supposed to be a secret,” Linus blurted, his face burning. “Not all alphas want children, and I understand if you don’t—”

Storm crowded close, cupping Linus’ belly with his large hand. “I told you. I’ll be responsible for whatever happens because of this heat.”

“What if I...”

“What if you...?”

“Wanted another load.” Linus ducked his head, his flush spreading to his ears.

“Fuck,” Storm whispered, his pupils dilating. “You can have however many loads you want, sweetheart. I could plug you up all night, make sure it takes inside you. Plug you up all day, too.”

“All day? How? You mean with—”

“A plug.” Storm grinned. “You have those. Maybe don’t use the biggest one, or you’ll be coming all day. That plug would grind against your sensitive spot whenever you move. Mmm.”

“M-maybe on the weekends,” Linus mumbled, warmth pooling in his belly. “You could knot me all day on the weekends.”

“Fuck yes,” Storm growled. “We’ll get you properly bred, sweetheart.”

Linus was growing wet again when he noticed the time on the wall clock. “I have class in three minutes!”

“Oops.” Storm helped him gather his things. Then they hurried to the classroom, where Storm took his usual seat in the last row.

Somehow, Linus managed to squash aside all his distracting thoughts. It got easier when he tried to prove to Storm that he could be a decent professor. Storm’s smile made his day.

Halfway through the next class, Storm frowned deeply at his laptop.

It wasn’t one of his usual frowns. When Storm got stuck on a piece of code, he would look mildly annoyed, but also shrewd as he considered the possible fixes.

This frown was nothing like that.

In fact, Storm was gritting his teeth, his eyes narrowed, his shoulders tense.

Was there... a threat?

Except Storm didn’t look up from his laptop, or even glance at the door. Whatever was bothering him, it didn’t seem urgent.

Linus swallowed his worry and kept going with the class; there was nothing he could do right now.

He kept a close eye on his alpha, though.

It was how he saw Storm’s eyes flash with cold fury, Storm’s bloodthirst disappearing the next second.

It’s something bad,Linus realized.

But he also saw Storm forcibly relaxing his shoulders, his expression turning neutral.

That, more than anything else, convinced Linus that Storm had told him the truth about his old gang, and his time in prison.

Storm was a killer.

Linus felt all the safer for it.

He waited for a chance to ask Storm about that reaction, except three students came up to him after class, needing some questions answered.

It wasn’t until the end of the day that they had time to talk again.

“Someday, I’d love to claim you over my bike,” Storm murmured as they walked through the science faculty hallways. “Have it parked but running, and you bent over it. Have you ever had something vibrate against your cock, Professor? Did you like it?”
