He gripped the Sword of Wind and brought it down upon the shackles binding Clotho. Darkness flared around the Reaper God as he swung the Ring of Death at Elios’s dark seed where it consumed the Goddess’s powers.

Sparks exploded when their weapons made contact with the God of Darkness’s corruption.

Cassius’s pulseraced as he sliced through the inky bands throttling Theo with his bright blade. The demigod gasped and shot out of Elios’s reach. Cassius clenched his jaw.

Theo’s skin was red where Elios’s shackles had burned him.

The demigod glared at the God of Darkness, his fingers tightening on the Spear of Light as his wounds started to heal.

Elios sneered where he floated before them. “You think you can defeat me so easily? You, who are barely demigods?! Your arrogance knows no—!”

An explosion of black flames drowned the rest of his words and blinded his vision. Elios cried out as the Eternity Key carved a wound in his left flank. Inky blood dripped from his flesh.

He touched it gingerly, disbelief widening his eyes as he stared at the black ichor staining his fingers.

Loki scowled where he levitated behind him. “You talk too much, asshole.”

A savage expression tightened Victor’s face at the sight of Theo’s injuries. He raised his sword of black fire and flashed toward Elios with a thunderous battle cry.

Darkness boomed around the deity.

It shoved them back some dozen feet.

Cassius narrowed his eyes as he used his wings to steady himself.Damn it! Atropos was right! He’s ten times stronger than before!

A harsh shout reached him as they prepared to attack Elios. It came from Tisiphone.

“No, Tenebra! Stop!”

Cassius’s head snapped up. Alarm twisted his gut.

Tenebra had Atropos by the throat and was slowly choking her. Tisiphone cursed as she attempted to get past Alecto to help the Moira.

“TENEBRA!” Orena bellowed from where she clashed with Megaera.

Kes screamed her eldest sister’s name where she furiously engaged the war demons and Nephilim in her path.

Cassius cracked his wings and flashed toward Tenebra and Atropos. Bloodcursed magic washed across him from below. He slowed and looked down. His pulse stuttered.

Eden stood beneath a giant maelstrom that was swallowing the army attempting to reach her and the ones she protected, red sparks lighting the air around her body and undulating hair and her mouth open on a fierce roar. The devilwood staff vibrated violently in her grip as it nullified the Cyclops’ lethal beams and shrieks. It was absorbing the energy of the Nine Hells at an exponential rate and expelling their enemy straight out of the Seventh Purgatory.

Shallow cuts bloomed on Eden’s skin and her weapon as some of their foe made contact. The wounds closed up even as they formed, never deterring their formidable defense.

Golden light bloomed behind the mage.

Cassius’s heart thumped heavily when he saw the figures in gold dresses and laurel crowns beside Morgan and the Reaper God. They blasted from the ground with expressions of pure fury, their white wings blazing with the same divine energy that Atropos projected, their clothes and crowns shifting into armor and winged helmets. A spinning staff and a rod appeared in their hands.

Now!

Cassius took a deep breath and reached for the source of his power.

“Ready yourself, Goddesses!” he yelled.

Confusion halted Elios in his tracks where he prepared to face off against Loki, Theo, and Victor. It turned to horror when Cassius unleashed the divine force contained within his core.

“NO!” the God of Darkness shrieked.
