But she still has friends here, even if she turned her back on them the same she did to us, and she still has her lovely parents. I can’t imagine she’d be happy to sit and watch as I blew her mom’s brains across the room.
Or maybe I’ll draw it out, make both Everest and that piece of shit Dima watch as I torture Ada before ending her life with a knife dragged across her throat.
Savoring the burn of the whiskey as it slides down my throat, I top off my glass then carry the amber liquid into the living room, dropping onto the leather couch and leaning my head back so I’m staring up at the vaulted ceilings, the chandelier hanging from the center dimmed.
When was the last time the staff cleaned that?
Why the hell am I thinking about something so fucking stupid?
Because I’m doing my best to stay distracted, to ignore the fact Everest is here. I can go right through that door and bury my cock in her pussy. I can shove my dick down her throat.
I can wrap my hands around her throat and strangle the life out of her.
Heavy footfalls thud against the stairs as Madd and Brix finally leave Everest and join me in the living room. Brix disappears around the corner and returns with two bottles, handing a beer to Madd before taking a seat in one of the chairs facing the couch.
“Dimitri is on whore duty until morning,” he announces before taking a long pull, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he takes several swallows. Big fucker nearly finishes the whole bottle before pulling it from his lips, wiping the back of his hand across his mouth.
“What are we doing if she’s carrying some disease?” Madd asks, leaning back and crossing an ankle over the opposite knee.
Honestly? I hadn’t thought about that. All I could think about was getting her here. Now that she’s under the same roof, I suppose we need to make more concrete plans.
“Dirty or not, she stays. She’ll carry my name if for no other reason than to piss off her dad and humiliate her. And then we’ll let her watch as we bring in other bitches to fuck.”
Madd chuckles, the sound deep, but lacking humor as he shakes his head. I’m not even sure he’s fucked a single woman in the past four years. If he has, he hasn’t brought any of them here.
Brix? I’m not sure there’s a woman – or man – he hasn’t fooled around with in the entirety of Cedar Springs. Almost like he was trying to fuck Everest out of his system. The muscle jumping in his jaw and the way his dark eyes keep darting to the stairs is evidence he didn’t succeed.
“Make some calls. Get the wedding set up. Hire a planner or whatever the fuck is needed for that shit. I don’t give a single fuck about colors or whatever, but I want it to be big and showy and newsworthy. I want her family to know she’s not only back in town, but back in our house and beds.”
Madd drops his foot and leans forward. “You sure you want to go through with this? Something happens to you, she legally gets everything.”
“I’ll have a trust written up to make sure it’s split between the two of you. She gets nothing. In fact, if I die before you two, feel free to hand deliver her back to that shit hole once you’re tired of her.”
I said the words, but they taste like a lie. She cut us deeper than anyone ever could, yet there’s this ember still burning for her deep in my chest. I just need to find a way to put the fucking thing out. Douse it with ice water before she manipulates us all over again.
Because I don’t think I’ll let her live if she ever thinks of running away from us again.
“Once Nick gives us the all-clear on her blood work, I want her full of cum every minute of the day. I want it rolling down her thighs every step she takes until one of us knocks her up.”
And just like when the three of us thought we were days away from running off into the sunset with our dream girl, none of us cares who sires the heir, as long as she gives us what she took away.
“Keep someone on her at all times. If we’re home…whatever. She can stay in that fucking room as far as I’m concerned. If she wants to wander, fine. But she doesn’t step a single foot outside this house without a shadow, whether one of us or a guard.”
I sip at the whiskey, contemplating going to bed, though I doubt sleep will come easily, not after finally laying eyes on Everest.
A smirk kicks up one side of my mouth. “I think she should help plan every aspect of the wedding.”
It takes a few seconds before both my surrogate brothers smile as they catch on.
She’s going to help build her own prison brick by fucking brick, even if that prison comes in the form of a white gown and a diamond ring.
Chapter 4
Everest
My mouth feels like I’ve been sucking on cotton balls, and my eyes feel crusted shut. What the hell did I get into last night? Last thing I remember…
As I lie here with my eyes squeezed shut and run through the previous night’s events, several things hit me at once. I am definitely not on my lumpy mattress positioned on the floor or covered by the scratchy blankets I found in a thrift store.
