“It doesn’t have to make sense to you, okay? It’s done. Just… justtrustme.”

I shake my head and inhale deeply. “It’s not that I don’t trust you, Ror. It’s that you made such ahugedecision out of the blue like this. But okay. Okay. You already said you'd tell me what’s going on when the time is right. You’re just… nobody is trying to hurt you, right?”

She stays quiet and hesitates before saying, “No.”

Yup, I’ll be tapping into her door camera later.

“Okay.” I reply.

Tell Sabrina I said I miss her.She signs.

“She wanted to come, but she had to finish up at Columbia.”

“I know.”

With one last hug, I leave my sister’s new apartment and get down to the SUV to make the four hour ride back home to Brooklyn.

I get home close to midnight. Every light in the mansion is off, save the one in the living room. I get to the lamp to turn it off and see there’s a pink envelope on the end table with my name on it, marked with a pink print of her lips. I open it up, and a polaroid falls to the ground. The note reads-

I missed you entirely too much for it to be healthy.

I’m crazy for you,

Sabrina

P.S. Come find me, Savage

I beam at the little card, then look down to see where the small polaroid fell and find it by the sofa. It’s a picture of Sabrina in white lingerie and strappy, glittering silver heels. She’s sitting on the ottoman in the theater, her head tilted back, and she’s holding up her pink and champagne hair. From this angle, I’m pretty sure Raven took, I can see her ass and the definition of her quads perfectly. Fuck, I love her thighs. I tuck the picture and littlenote into my wallet.

Taking a chance and guessing she’s in the theater room, I head that way. Sure enough, the lamp inside is on. There’s a heap of blankets on the settee, but no Sabrina. I guess she got tired of waiting for me. I go to turn the light off. We may have beaucoup money, but leaving lights on is just wasteful. It isn’t until I get closer that I see it’s not a heap of blankets - it’s my pretty girl.

I grin when I see the pink silk eye mask and spot the bit of drool on the matching silk pillow. She lets out a soft snore as she wakes up and sits up. “Parker?” she shoves the eye mask up to her forehead, blinking rapidly. “Oh, thank god, I thought you were an intruder.”

I laugh, “Then you got the survival instincts of a pineapple, baby doll.”

Sabrina rolls those pretty greens but still leans over to kiss me, humming happily when she pulls away. “Want to have a sleepover with me?”

“Do I gotta wear one of those eye masks, too?”

She gives me a lopsided smirk and slips it off. “I think you’d look rather dashing with it on.”

I take it from her and put it over my head, covering my eyes. “You think?” There’s a soft giggle, and she pulls me down. I barely catch myself before I faceplant on the back edge of the chaise. I shove the mask up and glare at her. “Christ, baby. Give me a sec.”

“Please, I’ve missed you,” she whines, scooting closer to the wall while I’m looming over her to make room for me.

“Where’s Maks?”

“Upstairs. He has to train in the morning with Niko. C’mon. I want to hear all about Rory’s new apartment.”

I reach behind me with one hand and tug off my shirt, then strip down to nothing but my boxer briefs, toeing off my socks, and sink into the lounger with her. “I fucking missed you, too, by the way.”

“I’d be upset if you didn’t,” She leans back, snuggling deeper, but turns on her side, propping up on an elbow – hair cascading forward – and I am so in love with her.

“Do you know just how beautiful you are, Sabrina? Like, it’s a serious question. You make my heart stop. You’re literally so gorgeous I can’t stop looking at you. At the same time, I can’t fucking take it. You- I- I never want to stop looking at you. I’m scared to miss it.”

“Miss what?” She asks softly, leaning closer, her eyes bouncing from my lips to my eyes. If she’s ever thought my eyes freak her out, she’s never said anything.

“Anything,” I reply thickly, reaching under the blanket to put my hand on her hip. I groan when I see she’s still wearing nothing but thelingerie she had on in that polaroid in my wallet. I’m one lucky motherfucker.
