I tried to inconspicuously peek at Jin’jer. Every time that I did, she had her eyes on me. Loni, the bottle girl, came into the section. She stopped at the girls first to get their orders before she made her way over to us. From the smirk displayed on her pretty face, I knew she was about to be with the shit. She and I fucked off from time to time, but it was never nothing too much.
She took Poseidon’s and Zeus’s drink orders before she turned her attention to me. Loni stepped in between my legs then started to sit down. My eyes shot over to where Jin’jer sat. When my eyes locked with hers, I grabbed Loni’s hips to stop her. “Whoa, what you doing?”
Confusion dressed her face, which was expected. This was our thing when I came to Club Obssession. We’d flirt and all that good shit, then I’d have her sucking and fucking my dick before the night was over. I wasn’t on that tonight though. “What do you mean, what am I doing?”
She tried to sit on my lap again, and I stopped her again. “Aye, chill, I’m not on that. How about you go get the drinks and bring me another beer.” I reached in my pocket, pulled outa wad of cash, flacked off a few bills, then handed them to her. I glanced back over to Jin’jer to see if she still had her attention over here . . . She did. I wasn’t sure why I cared.
Loni held the money with a scowl on her face. When she looked at me, she followed my eyes then tittered. “Oh, you’re trying to show off for some bitch tonight? Wow!”
“Aye, watch your mouth. I’m chillin’, like I said. Now go do your job before you piss me the fuck off.” This was exactly why I stopped sticking dick to these hos. Loni was over here acting entitled about some dick that didn’t belong to her.
She pushed the money in her hand into her bra then stormed off. I tried to ignore the stares of my brothers. They were aggie as fuck sometimes. “Chillin’ my ass,” Zeus mumbled.
“Right! We gonna let you live tho, Bro. We all been waiting for a time like this,” Poseidon said with a smirk.
I knew better than to feed into their bullshit. All I had tonight was chill vibes. Christian, Hemi, and Avery came into the section just in time before my brothers really got on their good bullshit. “Happy birthday, my man,” I said after I stood to dap Christian.
I frequented Club Obsession, but my brothers didn’t. I took the time to introduce them to Avery, the owner. “My people taking care of y’all over here?” Avery asked after the introductions.
We all nodded. “Yeah, it’s been a?—”
Zeus was cut off by the sound of a scream. All of our attention went over to the women. They were all standing from their seats. Melody and Hera were cursing Loni out while Dindi and Hestia were grabbing napkins off the table in front of the couch to help Jin’jer clean herself. She was soaking wet.What the hell happened?
“Aye, everything good?” Poseidon asked after he put his arm around his wife and pulled her out of Loni’s face. Melody’s ass stayed ready to pop off. In my mind a lot of that came from herprotective nature when it came to her cousin, my sister-in-law, Dindi. Now she just had more people to be protective of.
Hera had fire in her eyes. “No, everything is not alright. This silly bitch intentionally dropped the tray of drinks on Jin’jer.”
“No, the fuck I didn’t. I said it was a damn accident.” Loni stood there with her hands on her hips with no attempt to help clean up the mess that she made. Her brows were furrowed, face tight, and attitude high.
Melody laughed. “Bitch, try again. All night, your ass has been putting the tray on the table when you brought the drinks over before you handed them out. All of a sudden, you want to hold a tray full of drinks high, stepped in front of the table which you never have, then accidentally drop the whole fuckin’ tray on her!”
“What the fuck ever. She’ll be alright. I said it was an accident. I didn’t do shit but make that wig look better,” Loni jested.What the hell!
Jin’jer’s head slowly lifted from her cleaning herself off. She snickered then said, “So doing all that did what? Is it going to make him fuck you tonight?” she asked Loni with her finger pointed at me. “You out here doing extra shit because you saw a nigga looking at me? About to lose your job, for what?”
“I’m not about to lose?—”
Avery cut her off. “Actually, you are. Whether it was an accident or not, your attitude right now is unacceptable. Not sure what’s gotten into you tonight, but you know I don’t fuck around with the fuck around.” He waved over the security guard that was in front of our section. “Take her to get her shit out of her locker and escort her out of my shit.”
Damn!Loni’s head snapped toward me like I did something. The scowl on her face was strong. I looked behind me to make sure there wasn’t anyone behind me. “The fuck you looking over here for? I didn’t do shit to you.”
“Fuck you, Hades. You ain’t got to worry about me ever again.” Loni stomped off with security behind her.
I shook my head as I walked the few steps to Jin’jer. I used my index finger to swoop a piece of her hair behind her ear. “You alright?”
She glared at me, shook her head, then tittered. “Damn, the dick like that? It has bitches trippin’ off just the thought of it being in someone else. Let me make sure I stay away from that shit.” She laughed harder. “I don’t need those types of problems.”
I wasn’t sure if she laughed because it was truly amusing or if she was about to crash out on my ass. Loni was tripping, because it’d been a while since we fucked. Yeah, she’d sucked my dick in the last couple of weeks, but that was it. I dropped my head to look down at the crotch of my pants.Why the fuck you got to be like this?When I looked up at Jin’jer, my eyes bucked.
She tilted her head at me then smiled. “What, you thought I was baldheaded?” This damn girl had her wig off. Even with the stocking cap on, I could tell she had a head full of hair. She let the ladies know that she was going to the bathroom. They all decided to go with her.
“I’m sorry about that shit.” Avery apologized. “Loni’s been trippin’ lately. I should have fired her ass when she got into a fight with her baby daddy’s girlfriend a few weeks back. Her ass was in here talking about how that nigga just ate her ass the night before.” He tittered then said, “Y’all know Rehtaeh got a soft ass heart, so she told me to give her another chance.”
My ears peaked at that information. I knew she had a kid, but she claimed that she didn’t fuck with her kid’s father. Yeah, it was a complete wrap on her ass. I had other things to focus on. I turned toward the bathroom to see if the girls were on their way back. “It’s cool, Avery.”
It took the girls almost fifteen minutes to come back out. When they did, I was more in awe of the transformation of Jin’jer. Her hair was now up in a ponytail on top of her head. It was like kinky curly and beautiful.Yeah, I think she’ll be my new focus.
