"Have at it, baby. You can eat as much as you like. Just know you'll be working it off later."
I stuck my tongue out. "I look forward to it."
We were talking about pretty much everything as we waited for our food.
"Do you want a long wedding or a short one?" he asked.
"Short. There is no need to wait when we already know what we want. I just want our families there."
He nodded. "That can be arranged. How soon?"
"After finals."
Skyeville Rayvins were going to finals. My baby and his team took them there. I was so proud of him and knew we had a lot of traveling to do. I was ready for it all. With him by my side, I was ready for any and everything.

I rubbed her head as she cried tears of joy. Hell, I was crying as I stared down at my bundle of joy that was in her arms. Avani did it, even when she said she couldn't do it. I kissed her forehead tenderly, seeing the love that shone in her eyes as she eyed our baby girl.
"You did it. She's amazing, just like you. I love you both so much," I expressed to my wife, still not wanting to let them go.
"Baby, I never want to let her go. She's mine," she sobbed.
I nodded, agreeing with her. "Yes, she's yours, and you never have to worry about letting her go. She belongs to both of us."
I could remember Avani saying she didn't want any kids but look at her now with a whole-ass newborn. When we found outshe was pregnant, she fainted. She scared the hell out of me with that one. It was a good thing I was there to catch her when she did.
She was in labor for a whole twelve hours before she finally pushed our daughter out.
"Have you decided on a name yet?" I asked her.
She nodded slowly, eyeing our baby. "She's our Angel." She kissed her head.
"I love it. Angel Joelle Gardner."
Avani turned to me with tears in her eyes again. "You're giving her my middle name?"
I nodded. "Yes. It fits her like it does you."
"I love you so much," she confessed.
"I love you more. Thank you for giving me a chance even when I used to bully you back in the day. It was foolish of me to bully such a sweet woman like you. Who would have known you'd be my wife and gave me a child? It has been amazing being with you, and I know it was only the beginning. When I started shooting my shot with you, I knew I'd have you."
She giggled. "Listen, I wasn't counting on you shooting your shot, but you did and didn't miss. I'm grateful for your love. No one can ever come between our family. Our family is now complete."
"It won't be complete until you give me three more babies."
Avani almost shouted, but I kissed her mouth closed, not trying to hear anything else she had to say. She bit down on my bottom lip and sucked it into her mouth. Damn, that made me hard as hell, but I knew I had six weeks before I could slide back in that thang. Her mouth was going to be sore and tired.
"I love you," we expressed in unison when we pulled our lips apart.
