“Rudra...” she breathes, needy and breathless.

I lean close to her ear, letting my voice drop, full of hunger. “You feel how hard I am for you?” I slide my hips against hers. “This is what you do to me, Shivani. One look and I’m undone.”

Her cheeks flush, her breaths turning into short pants. I reach down, grabbing the hem of her dress, slowly inching it up. Her back arches to help me, and I don’t waste time stripping the fabric away. My eyes roam freely, greedily. She’s breathtaking.

I claim her lips in a searing kiss, my hands mapping her body like I’m memorizing every inch. I trail kisses down her neck, over her collarbone, and lower until my mouth finds her breasts. I take one nipple between my lips, sucking gently before biting just enough to make her gasp.

Her fingers dig into my shoulders. “Rudra, please,” she moans.

“Patience, darling,” I murmur, sliding my hand down between her thighs. I push her panties aside and slip a finger inside her. She’s wet. So damn wet.

“God, you’re so ready for me.” I add a second finger, thrusting slowly, watching her fall apart under my touch.

“Please...” she whispers, breathless.

“So needy tonight,” I smirk, but there’s no humor in it—just raw desire.

I pull my fingers out, licking them clean as I hold her gaze. Her chest rises and falls rapidly.

“I want to wreck you tonight,” I whisper, leaning in again. “Till you forget your own name and only remember mine.”

She gasps, and I position myself at her entrance. Her legs wrap around me instinctively.

I thrust in deep and fast, and she cries out, her nails digging into my back. Her tight heat grips me like it was made for me.

“The sounds you’re making, baby, are driving me crazy,” I rasp against her skin. “But I know you can be louder.”

I pick up the pace, thrusting harder, faster. Her moans turn desperate, her body trembling under mine. I lower my mouth to her breasts again, biting softly, and she arches into me.

Our bodies collide in perfect rhythm, the room echoing with gasps and moans. I reach between us, rubbing tight circles on her clit, and her body responds instantly—tense, trembling, so close.

“Come for me, Shivani,” I growl. “Let go.”

And she does.

Her body shudders, convulsing around me as she screams my name. The sight of her falling apart beneath me pushes me over the edge, and I pull out, spilling my release on her stomach with a groan.

We collapse together, breathless, tangled in sheets and each other. I bury my face in her neck, her scent grounding me. Her fingers trail lazily over my back.

“I love you,” she whispers, her voice soft and full of something that punches straight through my chest. “So much.”

I freeze. My body stills completely.

“What did you say?” I ask, pulling back to look at her.

She avoids my eyes, her smile wobbly. “I love you,” she repeats.

I don’t answer. I can’t. The words catch in my throat, blocked by something old and jagged. Her smile falters when I don’t respond. I see the pain flash in her eyes—she tries to hide it, but I know her too well.

“I’m sorry I can’t say it back,” I finally whisper, not meeting her eyes.

The silence that follows is deafening.

“Rudra,” she calls quietly. “It’s okay. I understand.”

But I know it’s not okay. Her voice trembles, and she turns her face away, staring at the ceiling. Her body goes still, and I can feel the distance growing between us, no matter how tightly I hold her.

I sit up, guilt gnawing at me like a damn parasite. I want to fix it, to take away that hurt. But I can’t give her something I don’t know how to say.
