Before Stephen could console her, she ate the cake and moan

To their relief, they reached the hospital, and they shifted Eva in a wheelchair, still holding the plate
Stephen tried to pull the plate but Eva screamed at him

Stephen controlled his breath to stay calm while the staff rushed to the labor room.
The family was relieved as Eva finished eating the piece of cake before entering the labor room, and Stephen followed her into the OT.
Samantha, Richard, and Robert all reached the hospital as Steve messaged them about Eva’s condition.
While sitting in the lobby, Rose whispered to William,
"Do smile holding the baby."
“I will, but why are you telling me this?”
“Don’t act! I know you are upset from the day the doctor revealed the gender of the baby. William, I know you wish for a granddaughter, but what’s wrong if it’s a grandson, so please smile when you hold the baby, ok?
“William just hummed with a pout, and Rose shook her head at his childish behavior.
Then Rose looked ahead at Michael, who was in tears. Worry for her daughter was clear on his face
“Michael, don’t worry; she will be fine soon. So all set to welcome grandson."
Michael gave a nod with a smile, wiping his tears. “ Yes”
In the labor room
"Mam, just a last push and the baby will be here."
Eva, it drenched her body in sweat from the last two hours. She was bearing this unbearable pain, and the stubborn child was not ready to arrive.
"Come on, love, just the last time, Push.”
Eva gaped at Stephen, who was holding her hand and sitting by her side. , rubbing his thumb on her forehead
“Really, just a push, Stephen. Why don’t you try ?“

Her outburst shocked Stephen, and the medical staff concealed their chuckles.
