Stephen has two more days in his hand before leaving for LA, so he enjoyed these two days like Eva desired.
Chapter 53: Gift!!
The next morning Eva woke up rubbing her eyes and found herself alone in the room. The bright sunlight coming into the room was a clue that it’s near afternoon time when she got up.
Eva held her head as she felt a throbbing headache; soon she felt nauseous, and she made a run towards the washroom to throw up. After throwing up her guts out, she started feeling dizzy again. With some steps, she entered the bedroom and her eyes spotted the maid holding a coffee mug and some medicines in a tray
She got sprawled on the couch the maid forwarded her tray
“Take this, madam; it will help you with your hangover
“Hmm hangover, did I get drunk? “ she tried to remember last night’s happenings but she couldn’t recall much, as the last thing she remembered was drinking some shots with Samantha.
Eva kept her thoughts aside and gulped the pill, followed by a hot cup of coffee. After some time, Eva felt some relief in her headache, so she took a refreshing shower. Maybe it will help her condition too
After taking a relaxing bath, she came out and found the maid also present in the room, which surprised her.
The maid forwarded a bag to her
"Sir, send this for you and ask you to get ready in this dress; he also told me to help you if you needed any help in getting ready.
He is waiting for you for breakfast."
"Hmm, no, I mean I will manage; you can leave." maid did her job and left the room
This unexpected gesture of Stephen Eva was feeling confused. He opened the packet and was amazed by the view of the sundress. It was absolutely stunning. Eva was trying to know the reason for Stephen’s gift too, with no occasion. Still, she got ready in the dress.
It shocked the moment she reached the dining table and saw Stephen wearing a pair of t-shirts and shorts, She just got settled on the seat next to Stephen
The maids started serving their plates, and Eva noticed Stephen didn’t wish her good morning like other days, even though he was ignoring her.
Eva focused on the food first, but thoughts about last night kept spreading to her: “Is he behaving like this? Did something happen last night that I am oblivious to too? I hope I didn’t create some scene.”
Eva's thoughts were running in every way possible, Stephen's voice broke her trail of thoughts
“After finishing your breakfast, reach at the beach; I will wait for you."
Eva gaped at him and gave a nod at him to agree with his words. Stephen left the dining room and soon exited the villa.
Eva lost her appetite listening to his cold tone; she was now almost convinced that something occurred last night., which made Stephen furious.
Somehow Eva finished her juice and decided to make her way to the beach. He doesn’t want to upset him more.
After reaching the beachside, she found some people around, and he was busy in some kind of discussion with them.
Eva reached near her and stood near Stephen. The other people greeted Eva and she replied with a nod as all of them were strangers to her
"Here she is, my beautiful wife Eva. And they all are here to help us in water sports."
"Water sports!!”
"Yes, dear, don’t you like it?
“I don’t know; I never tried it."
